No worries. I've told them we'll be there from 8pm so first come first served on the seats. Should be room for all as I've asked them to hold that whole section.

This is near were I work do might pop in on the way back. Whats the street number or is it close to the U-Bahn stop?

It's really easy to find. It's exactly on the corner of Lindwurmstr. and Implerstrasse. You can't miss it. If you are coming from U-Bahn stop Poccistr. just take the exit of KVR, pass the bridge and it's right there.

Great night, nice to meet so many new people. Cafe Blue should definitely be considered for future TT Tuesdays or events.

Twas a very good night. I'll post some pictures if I can ever find that little white cable thingy. Bastard went missing about a month ago and I'm running out of space on the camera. Anyways, very nice to meet everyone last night. Especially the bizarre inclusion of Gabriel from France who had a touch of the Chris Eubank about him both in style and in accent.

We got well looked after in Café Blue. The waitress in our section had her work cut out for her but I think she coped very well. Plus at the end of the night there were no drinks left over, an achievement in itself. Great stuff.

p.s. a special word is due to the lone TTer who gets the "Didn't Read the Thread" award and showed up at 6 instead of 8. Congrats.

Glad everyone had a good time.

Shame I missed it. Really wanted to come too. Oh well... Next time I guess

beer garden sounds good. The sun is probably going to be with us this week, so I vote for Chinese Tower (although I won't make it there till about 8:30pm).

How about the best of both worlds? Start out at the Chinese Tower, and then head over to Murphy's for karoke.

that is a very good suggestion for those people for whom a 10pm Karoke start is not too late.

the usual spot (i think) is to left of the chinese tower (if you are facing the Schanke. The Gaststätte should then be to your right), the row of tables against the fence.

for the newbies and the infrequent guests (like myself), could we have a clearer meeting place? (not meant as a critique OG, but how can you be on the left of a circular building?)

Actually OG more often than not lately we have been sitting near the kiddie playground. But I know which spot you mean. The spot which will be in the sun the longest is my vote. It really cools off in the evening now when the sun goes in. Brrr.

Basically if you stand facing the tower where the restaurant is on your right...to your left there is a grouping of tables against the fence.

I am out this week as well, unfortunately, coz I have a late meeting. But will definitely be there for the next TT drinks.

Okay, I'm off to work. I'll be there by 18:10, sitting at one of those tables hopefully and reading "The Joy Luck Club".

I'll be there for a little while...and I'll dedicate my first Maß to Poots.

A good method for those with a problem with whats left and whats right is to put your hands out in front of you, fingers together facing upwards, and thumbs at right angles (90 degrees) The hand that looks like a capital L is left. Works every time.
And you people think that DrivinWest is fucking clever.

Don't try this whilst driving, operating heavy machinery or during any situation which involves someone saying, "Ooh, left a bit baby".

Won't be there tonight, am off now to Grosshadern and then to bed (I need sleep and lots of it). Have lovely beers and a great sing-song!
