Just to make sure we can encourage people to come along, you will not have to look at my ugly mug all night. I will be ably assisted by the beerfairy Susi...

Dunno about anyone else, but I reckon we should head over straight from work. I'll be there about 5.45 or so.
Oh no. This sounds horribly familiar.
I might well go but I'd be leaving early (honest - have got hairdo at 8pm)

@Katrina - For this to be 'like old times' - It needs either Jimbo propping the bar up when I get there, or at least arriving 5 minutes after I do. Then Don Riina, Foxy, Sparty etc, etc.

Well you were always late because the 5 o'clock club was generally Jimbo, pootle, Editor Bob to hand out the tokens, me straight from work, then don_riina about 15mins later, Sparty at about 6 and you at 6:30pm (and you'd have one then go to your German class).
And I'd leave between 7:30-7:45 to get home in time to cook the then Herr Indoors' dinner.
Foxy would arrive when I would be leaving because of her work and bee_sting would also be there occasionally as would showem.
It should worry me that I remember this but heigh ho.

Last month a TT special karaoke was hosted at Günther Murphy's. It proved popular and there have been calls for a repeat. So... the same will be happening again this Tuesday - 30.Aug.2005.
Update: due to
sunshine and popular demand... meet up at the
Chinese Tower for drinks - starting from 6.37pm. Then, once vocal cords have been loosened, the Karaoke will start at
Günther Murphy's from 10pm. Hosted, as previously, by
Crawlie.

Singing...

yeah right!! Lets not get carried away with ourselves just yet!
the TT definition of singing at karaoke is somewhere along the lines of...making noise while holding a microphone!
myself included BTW!!

Taj,
Hard to miss the Toytown crowd. You would have to be a blind, deaf, mute to miss us. You can usually find the Toytowner's hanging out at the well in the center of Murphy's or you can ask anyone on the bar.

I could have really used a martini (or 6) then ...
