I haven't found it to be that way anymore. A year ago, sure, but the buzz about the place has worn off and the ponces of which you speak have migrated elsewhere.

I am the global spokesperson for Poncy Twats. I think Keydeck will still feel happy with the place.
I will be wearing my Scarlet Pimpernel outfit tonight, "they seek him here, they seek him there, that damned elusive Toncy Pwat"

I'm going off to my exercise class now (called "Body of Steel" - ha ha "Body of Pies" more like), trying to get rid of some agression (think listening to The Hives this morning was a mistake).
Blimey, it is truly a 12 step programme.
Poncy Twat Anonymous
We admitted we were powerless over poncy twatness - that our lives had become unmanageable. And poncy. And twatty.
Came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves could restore us to non-poncy twatness.
Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understood Him (or whatever).
Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves (noting potential poncy twatness areas)
Admitted to God, to ourselves and to another human being the exact nature of our wrongs (i.e. given the poncy twatness list to someone else for a laugh)
Were entirely ready to have God remove all these defects of character (or drink enough beer to block it out instead)
Humbly asked Him to remove our shortcomings (see previous item)
Made a list of all persons we had harmed, and became willing to make amends to them all (or post about it on here)
Made direct amends to such people wherever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others (see above)
Continued to take personal inventory and when we were wrong promptly admitted it (what precisely does "wrong" mean? *scratches head*)
Sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with God, as we understood Him, praying only for knowledge of His will for us and the power to carry that out (this means getting a round in. I think).
Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to fellow poncy twats, and to practice these principles in all our affairs.

I don't think they are that selective when you try to enter, but I know from some people. that they do refuse groups entry (around five people)..maybe only on weekends, but you should call ahead if you are planning to go there.

thought you were going to be busy organizing the apartment for the inlaw visit anyway Blimey?

The drinks are excellent! Ten euro for huge (HUGE) glasses. Once had three and the rest of the night...I don't recall that much. I don't think they restrict people for a dress code or how they look, but they do not like to let in too many people at once, similar to The Bar Fly. I have had freinds of five or so people who tried to meet us there, but were refused entry. Later they came back with a group of three and were allowed in...I only mentioned this as it becomes packed (it is quite small), they may refuse entry. That is why I suggest calling beforehand, but then again it may only be on weekends, adn they will ove the business on a weekday.
I like the place and always had fun there, good atmosphere, good music and great drinks. But for a TTT, maybe not the best recommendation.

Please remember to bring a rich person to eat.
Here is a handy recipe:
Take one member of the UK or Dutch royal family and pan fry with garlic and onions (for Prince Philip Ouzo can be added for flavour) until golden. Bake in the oven for 2 hours until tender. Serve with greens (ie Prince Charles) and orange (Sara Ferguson) slices. With Prince Edward use Puff Pastry.
Good hunting...
