Great location for me, however I can't make it :S

It was really crammed when we were there last Thursday, probably due the fact that it was the 1st nice day in a while. Never before have I seen that huge place filled to the last spot.

Tomorrow it should be like on a normal summer day (btw, I think Summer officially starts tomorrow, no?).

Tomorrow is the longest day and so also the first day of summer
Any places like that in the centre of town tend to get full on Thursdays. Tuesdays are in general "better", but the Augustiner beer garden is truly popular. With good reason...

Can we do the Hofbräukeller next Tuesday?

If someone wants to get there early and secure tables, sounds lovely Hofbraukeller sounds great. I cant turn up until at least 7-8pm next week

I like Hofbräukeller very much, mind though that it gets quite crammed on school nights w/ nice weather. See TT Tuesday last year there.

Hardly possible to hold on to more than one table, especially if you get there at 6pm and the majority of people show up at 8:30 or 9pm as has become a recent trend on TT Tuesdays. I suggest that people either show up early, or we can grab one of the outer tables and people arriving later can stand around it.

I like the Hofbraukeller too. But it's true that everyone will have to either get there on time or not expect to sit. It's a problem there.

CUNNING PLAN: If someone were to bring some table cloths, though, that would help to reserve the tables. It's a psychological ploy that works rather well on Bavarians.

What about the Park Cafe beer garden at Karlsplatz for tomorrow?

I know, but it was not in the suggested places and I thought that hofbräukeller was suggested a lot already so some variety in venues couldn't harm, but I go with whatver anybody else wants...

Never been to Park Cafe but always cycle past it wondering what it is like. This might be the opportunity to check it out

I vote Park Cafe even though I will most likely be chained to dishwasher. If I can slip out the back door while backs are turned I shall be there.

Sounds good and easy to get there. I shall wholeheartedly throw myself into TT events again.

I'll come too. I haven't been to the Park Cafe in a while, and it's so easy to get to. I'll head straight there from work so can probably be there by 18:30. Anyone else out that early?

@Ludo: Of course! All newbies are welcome. To help you find us, I'm blond, with my hair partially braided and wearing a brown sleeveless sundress with braiding around the bodice. Petal had dark brown hair just past her shoulders. Bubblylady will be the blond that all the men are staring at. If that doesn't help, does anyone have the inflatable guitar?

Not sure what happened to the inflaable guitar. Pootle has an inflatable dafodil , but I'm not sure he's coming. We could always do the white electric fan heater!! Yes, I will be there with one!

rain drops keep falling on my head...

Being that we go inside? They have ample indoor seating there, settees and such. It might be a good idea to reserve though... is anyone doing that?
