TT Tuesday drinks - discussion archive

There's a 'club' in the bottom of the Hofbräukeller...at the time we went in there were just two couples dancing. Well naturally we had a maß down us and walked in laughing. That was our mistake. You don't laugh at the old people dancing. You NEVER laugh at the old people dancing.

So we literally got asked to leave. It was pretty damn funny.

Anyone meeting up tomorrow?

It may just be nice enough for a beer garden? Not too hot yet today either and it is supposed to be sunny for the entire day.

Umm, bier garden and good weather. The things I will miss if I move back to where I came from.

Which bier garden?

Weather is not looking so good right now, but I am up for anything.

Any alternative suggestions?

Augustiner. You can always go in the cellar there if it gets cold/wet.
Not yet sure if I'll be able to make it myself though.

augustiner's probably a good idea -- does anyone have a mascot? even though i know so many faces, i'm pretty lazy, and it'd be nice to immediately spot the right quadrant. : )

I shall probably end up in The Arc. Scotland are going to lose against the Barbarians tonight, so would like to watch that.

I am going to suggest wassermann in Neuhausen, it is around the corner from the cinema and might convize some of the TT'ers going there to come along (i will post there also)

As a Star Wars guy I'd say anywhere in Neuhausen at 10-ish sounds good. Good suggestion, Mr Hamster.

Wassermann works for me so long as I can find it. (terrible sense of direction is a problem when trying to find new places!)

Wassermann is easy to find - just take the U1 to Maillingerstr.
If you're coming from Hauptbahnhof, then get off at the front of the train, go up the escalator from the platform and turn left - go up that escalator and turn left onto street level (Nymphenburgerstr.).
Walk about 15 metres and you come to Elvirastr on your left.
Keep walking down Elvirastr. (you have to cross Blutenbergstr.) until you come to Wassermann - about 100m.

before walkin down elvirastr look up the 4th floor of the building to the right.thats my office. i will show u guys the middle finger for having fun while i work .

When will everyone be there? I'm a total newbie but would like to come (although I will be sacrificing a very exciting night watching Desperate Housewives). Can someone meet me there? (I read this is what I am supposed to do when I am nervous about just showing up). Thanks.

@Winegirl - Just a FYI - There is a new Bartender (and 1 new waiter) at the TB so he probably won't know TT'ers that well

@Newbies - Don't worru though there will be someone there to point the way with no problem - Hint: Walk in the front door, look to the end of the bar on the left and thats where Toytown normally hang out

I think I'll show, off to do some laundry first though!!
