Tollwood or Hofbrau are fine with me. But if we do tollwood we have to pick a specific place beforehand.

i am only going to The Arc cos a friend of mine is celebrating her birthday there and one or two TTers will be there to help her get very drunk! Like i said, you are all very welcome to join us there but i can't chaneg my plans for somewhere else

okay so far the Arc, TB, Tollwood, and Hofbrau have been suggested...where are we going? I'm not making the decision.

Then again, was there last night and lack of sleep doesn't make the cold any better so I guess I give it a miss tonight.

@BB Yeah our posts overlapped. The reason I'd go to Tollwood is that I haven't too much time and it's so close to work, no objections to The Arc as such at all. The disadvantage with Tollwood is that it's forecast to be cold tonight so if we stood around outside we might freeze.

i'm doing "pots of evil" (for the last time this year *sigh*) with a college and then its up to The Arc to do drinkies with a few people.

i sadly work with people who can not drink as they are a bunch of woossies. and the others are a bunch of wankers.

It looks like we are still waiting for a decision , I'll try to make it wherever it is, but I am just wondering what time it usuallly starts and ends. It looks like I will have to work late so would only be able to get there at around 20:30 -21:00 would that be too late ??

anyway, I never go to the TT tuesday (well, I went once) so it's none of my business really.

Ok so I came and left ; it looked like there was a party going on and I could not figure out where the Toytown group was...so I asked the bartender and he said the whole pub was from Toytown (that was funny !!)

Anyways, it looked like everyone knew each other and was having a good time. I'll try again in the New Year

I'm sorry you missed us Smartini, the whole bar certainly wasn't Toytown. We were mainly sittting up near the front of the bar, away from where you walk in, with a few mixed into the birthday party crowd. But there wasn't many of us, just a few elite.

You know, the very first time I went to a TT tuesday (OK I've been to 2, I forgot the first time), I had the same experience as smartini - lots of smallish groups of peeps who seemed to know each other real well. Bit intimidating, even for an Aries like me .
I know other people seem to have different experiences, though, so don't know why it was. Maybe it's just coincidence. My first time was also at the Arc, btw

actually, showem, the whole bar WAS Toytown or associated. The birthday girl was Regi, with whom many Ters have plaayed Touch. So it was her, her "Herman" friends and her TT friends which included myself, Gideon, Beg Tets + partner, Hazza + partner, and SteveNZ, Chris04, Winegirl, Showem & Texas Torndado was there plus many i have forgotten.

I actaually jus walked in after getting a taxi home from the Arc. great evening!

Owain, there were a great number of people you class as "Hermans" there. Certainly outnumbered the TTers the entire time I was there. For poor Smartini, walking in and not knowing anyone, it would have been tough to find us.

Had to go to town to do some shopping and was looking forward for a Glühwein in the Arc but then friends called me that they are in Munich. One of them i haven't seen in six years.
But will be there next time, promise!!
I still vote for The Arc on the 4th To say Happy New Year.

Moko won't be wearing her pearls this evening...that would just be too much daaarling! Also, we have given the chauffeur a couple of days off for Christmas, so we'll be using something I believe is known as public transport?
