Spurs may not win official tophies mate, but we have the most criminal fan-base of any Premiership team. Something to be proud of. At least it is if a fight's in the offing...

Hi! I'm planning on joining the group for the first time tomorrow, so I hope you have it settled now on the Arc? I've never been there, so cool to go somewhere new, though I know Morris, the owner of Molly's and that's near home as well - maybe Molly's another time? What time will most arrive? How will I find you? I'll be the small blond one looking lost. Probably with a Canadian friend in tow.

Ask anybody (and I mean anybody) in the place ...and they will direct you to the TT group. You will probably hear us as soon as you walk down the stairs.

Ask anybody in the place and they probably are Toytown! Even the bar staff! I'll probably be the one constantly being tipped upside down by a tall canadian (cannuck) if that helps!v either that or dancing on a table!

So for those of us fairly new to the group...what time to people usually show up?
Graham
Sep 14 2004, 8:24 am
Canuck will be there straight after work, so as soon as it opens really. The rest, well those not playing Touch I think arrive soon after 7ish, the Touch players will drift in about 9ish, depending on how quick it gets dark.

I am hoping to join for the first time this evening as well. Going to play tennis first and then can head down to the ARC to join this large group. Should be fun. If I read correctly, this group is meeting at the ARC between 7pm and later, and then we should look for the TT table? John - Canadian by the way eh!

OK on this rare occasion, I will also pop my head outside the door. OK, what time we meeting then ? So what game is being shown tonight then ? As Chelski and the Arse are also playing tonight.

Sep 14 2004, 12:24 pm
@spuzzum There shouldn't be much looking to do, and there's certain to be more than one TT table ;-)
This is an informal occasion so it's not really a question of what time to meet. Come and go as you please. The Arc opens at 6 and some people might just head there straight from work.

If you're still studying at Inlingua, you can catch the 27 tram from
Sendlinger Tor to Schellingstrasse - I did that after German yesterday, and got there just after 9pm.

I will be there, but very very late. Midnight perhaps, to watch the
World Cup of Hockey final between Canada and Finland. It starts around 1am and I'd like some support in cheering against the evil Finns.

We were outnumbered last night at the Arc...aboot 20 Finnish people, 4 Canadians and 10 wannabe Canadians watching the game. We prevailed...3-2 in a very tight game. Felt good wearing the maple leaf at 3:30am as they carried the trophy around the ice...yeah baby...Thanks to Showem and Greg for staying up extra late too..
