Not sure what you agreed to, but I'll post what/where I like, thank you.

Gideon, leave my "hmmm i'm 6 years old an still in nappies thread" alone. It was posted as a joke that I thought would raise a chuckle, not get everyone all ornery and riled up like that bucking mule that uncle Jebediah was trying to shoe. Serious sense-of-humour-ectomys all over the place.

Maybe not today, but other alternatives for TT Tuesday:
1) Alter Ofen
2) Steinheiler (best and biggest Wiener Schnitzel in the world) If you eat one, you are a certifed glutton.
3) Bar on corner of schelling and amalienstr. (South east corner). They should have enough seating. Forget the name. Think its Egger. They have a 'secret' large room at the back.
4) Uni Pub downstairs near LMU on western side of Leopoldstr near MaxE. Never been there, but they serve Tegernseer beer.
Just ideas...

A quick glance out of my window and there are only 2 bikes outside Max E, so it should be quite quiet down there still. As for the Touch Rugby issue I just want to clarify that I was merely saying that for the Touch people, if they wanna come to Max, that it gets busy quite early on nice days (which today no longer is), and so they may not find a seat - ist mir egal if they're OK standing.

Lovely evening at MaxE. Perfect weather. Sorry I left early but some of us have to work at silly times. Great to meet the new TTers who I havent met before.
Good food, ok ish beer (lowenbrau). Not sure if the rugby people turned up or not.
This thread will be getting closed off some time tomorrow to try and kill the silly rugby stuff.

Yes, you can call your point of view "…just logic", and mine "hysterical". Could also be called "sabotage". Personally, I'd agree you've succeeded on the latter. But of course, it all depends on the perspective. From yours, I'd say you've done very well.

Yep, a good night at Max E - definitely my favourite beer garden in Munich - though those of you who walked home with me will realise why. I didn't get to speak to that many new faces either as I was discussing Ketchup's impending nuptials with him for quite some time, so sorry I didn't say hi!

The waiter, same guy every time, is pissing me off all the time there. It takes ages for him to bring food, he forgets half of the orders and is being a smartass every time.

Have to say the overall service here isnt that good. My first time here was Greg K's leaving do when the waiter 'refused' to sell us half litre glasses of Helles because he was sick of collecting glasses. 2nd time indoors took nearly 20 minutes to get a Weißbier when the place was empty. Agree with Sparty the waiter last night was ignoring people when they asked for beer and then forgetting to bring orders.
Max E is a nice place to sit in, just a shame about the service.

A few people did have problems getting served last night - but that was more as a result of the Bier Kasse not being open - the earlier rain meant that it was shut - remember there were like 3 or 4 waiters serving an entire beergarden - a lot of people were just paying for their beer up at the beer collection point place.

I vote for the Kellner! He was cute, friendly and brought me beer whenever I looked thirsty! (i.e. constantly)
I really enjoyed last night, what a fab little Biergarten, although I am glad I stuck to Radlers as I hate Löwenbräu... the food looked great, I should really have eaten some of it as I got thoroughy plastered on 2 Radlers!
Oh and next time I think we should gatecrash that fab little dancing thing going on inside, it was like an obstacle course getting to the loo, but very funny! We'd have to stick stick rods up our arses to fit in, though...

Twas my second TT night and I must say TT is a fun bunch to have a jar (or two) with. Also concur with the general concensus on the Löwenbräu Bier. At least the Helles, which is what I had. In my admittedly early stages of Brauwesen wisdom, I would go so far as to say that the yeast used for fermentation may have been used one too many times, or maybe it wasn´t lagered long enough...at least that´s one explanation I can come up with for the somewhat unpleasant aroma of the beer (Don´t think it was the Rugby players

) This would also jive with 3 Lions aftereffects this morning. I heard the Weizen was good though.

It's more because when he came with the beers, I tapped him on the shoulders letting him know I was standing at another place then when I ordered the beer. He looked at me with a face like "can't you see I have my hands full with beers?" and saying to me that I can order when he got rid of his beers.

Question is, would you have a different opinion on the quality of service if the waiter was a flirting blonde big-breasted young lady?
(that would actually been practical, that way chewy could show that snogging with two blondes is possible!)

So all that Toytown wants is a pub/beer garden, where the waiters will instantly know if we wish to speak english or german with them, (see other thread), have decent beer at decent prices, and the best looking waiters and waitresses in munich, (preferably the ones in playboy!)
we dont ask for much!

I've no idea who it was
