poor Ellewood! Good thing you're not coming to Italy now, a dorm of 19 TTers is just as dangerous as 30 rugby players, any day!
I'll be coming along for a while but my leg really needs a rest before trekking this weekend, so I'm going to the gym to work out the other bits instead of playing rugby tonite.

Maybe we should stick with the plan as some people may not get a change of venue in time.

I agree, like last week, chaos... stick to a new place, makes a nice change

by the way Pootle, am I allowed to put htis link in here for the map?
http://www.hot-maps.de/it's the best way I'v found to post the map without it being a visible attachment, by using the print view you get the proper link...

OK, so Photojenny and I will be fulfilling our promise of coming to cheer on at the rugby before the drinkies tonight.
I agree, it would be nice to try somewhere different. Also, a bit late to be changing the plan.
Ellewood - I will bring the portugal books if you still want them!

when I click on JoolyBooly's link, all I get is a (lovely) map of Germany. Happens every time for links to hot-maps. I thought someone posted once how to fix it, but can't find that either - what am I doing wrong?
(and yes, I do realize I can type in the address myself the old fashioned way, the question is more about the links than getting myself a map of the location)

this is a bit of us culture i could get used to while playing touch.
of course we would have to have some cheerboys for the female players. don't want to be seen as sexist now do we

photojenny

Oh dear, don't have any pom poms

Was a pleasure to meet you on sunday grtho, and I might well be out and about tomorrow evening as I have a week and a bit off

. I won't be playing the touch rugby first though as I'm completely written off after yesterday, and in any case I only play sports that involve spherical balls

I am thinking about chnaging my login now. Graham seems just too boring and could confuse now that we have discovered there are two of us Graham Thomas' in TT, what do you think Graham?

btw Grtho: just looked in the Telephone book myself. The F***ing Telekoms B'stards have my name the wrong way round. According to them I am Thomas Graham and not Graham Thomas.

3 Lions and DW - I might be up for an earlier meet - even better if we kicked off in
Schwabing somewhere, tho it's mir egal as to where as long as it's quite central, tho I had a very nice meal in Max E last night... Could one of you SMS me the details later, as I'm about to undertake a shopping mission, and I may be gone for quite some time...

Aug 3 2004, 9:54 am
Sorry!!! Usually I carry my green inflatable guitar ALWAYS with me!

Unfortunately I forgot it at home today and as I'm coming to the rugby/Chinese Tower straight from work I won't be able to bring my guitar along with me this time. Bugger!
Shaggy
Aug 3 2004, 9:57 am
Ok.. so for any new people who want to come along, you can
-drop by the hard to miss
Touch Rugby Practice (field between Chinese Tower and Seehaus) where we hope to have loads of supporters

I think the idea was to meet somewhere near the ice-cream vendor, where there are some tables (opposite sie to where the Bierausschank is).
(But it is probably easier to meet us where we play)

No drinks tomorrow?!?

Has Rugby killed the TT Tuesday? Or will we all bring our own beer along and cheer for our rugby team?

Aug 9 2004, 4:11 pm
I'll be off swimming, so no drinks for me.
If I were going to go, I would suggest the Augustiner Beergarden on Anrulfstr as everyones not been there for a while.
Graham
Aug 9 2004, 4:12 pm
last Tuesday there were loads of people at TT Tuesday at the Chinese Tower. Why should TOUCH rugby kill off TT Tuesday?
Suggestion for Tomorrow: Aumeister Biergarden near Studentenstadt? Any goers?

Aug 9 2004, 4:13 pm
True! Haven't been to the Augustiner for ages and it's actually my favourite beergarden! Anybody up for it?

Kornflake and Wee Man are having their good bye drinks in Bondi tomorrow, so no TTT for me. Aumeister is a beautiful beer garden. Can only recommend it!
