Venues for a concert tour throughout Germany

Hi there, I am trying to help out a friend of mine from Sicily who is managing a Modern Folk band from Palermo, called Akkura. He wants to organise a bit of a European tour and has asked me to find some suitable venues in Germany. I moved to Wiesbaden, not even six months ago so I don't exactly have an extensive list of contacts or knowledge of good places. So if you have any suggestions as to suitable places throughout Germany that he could try, please let me know! The band is a mix of rock, jazz and folk, has lots of energy and gets you moving.

I would think the best thing to do would be to have a look at where similar bands are playing, then either get in touch with the venues or one of the promoters.

Hey, thanks for the advice. I guess the real problem is that I'm not exactly that knowledgeable about the old music scene. I wouldnt even know where to begin to look for similar bands. But I will keep my ears open.
