I'll be turning 21 in January but as of yet the only firms I have found all want you to be 25 to hire a car. I have a car out here but if things go wrong I need a back up plan...
Currently living in Düsseldorf & work in Ratingen.
Have had my driving licence for nearly 3 years, however I do have 3 points for speeding, will this also affect my chances of being able to hire a car?
Apologies if there is already a thread on this, I did do a search but most seem for Munich only...

Try Europecar...I think they might, but that said there will probably be extra surcharges since you are under 25.
