I just wanted to say hello. This looks like a fantastic site and a great place to meet up and learn more about Germany. I’m moving to Munich in a few weeks- never been to Germany. I’m wondering if anyone has any pointers, perhaps where to find an apartment, great areas to live in ect. ANY information would be greatly appreciated. Also if anyone’s up for grabbing a beer sometimes feel free to leave a message. Great to be here and nice to meet you all.

Hello all - I'm new to Munich and TT
Welcome Mike, there are plenty of answers to your questions if you do some searches, also plenty of TT events to come to to grab a beer. It won't be hard to meet people if you turn up to a few of those when you arrive in Munich.
welcome Mike. There is a pluthera of info on this site, but I recommend you use the search function first...get some background info...and then ask specific questions that you may still have that have not been answered already.
As for beers, best way to meet folks live and in person is by making the effort by joining up at one of the meetups, sporting thingy or events that go on regularly.
There is also a thread called "introduce yourself to TT", which is a good place to do exactly that.
