Chiemsee Reggae Festival

I dont know whether this will become a "TT event" or not, but at the moment I am going by myself so I thought I would invite some TTers to join me. You can read about it here:

I have decided to go for the whole experience and camp there even though I only live 15 minutes away, as the 70€ 3 day ticket includes camping for free. Alternatively you can buy single day tickets at 42€.

Its actually one of Europes major Reggae events, so it should be a good time down there in the sun near Lake Chiemsee.

KZAM! going all 3 days? can only do/will do friday. unfortunately am going to a wedding on saturday. hope i can camp at least fr/sat night and avoid coming with the car since you can use the train with the ticket. let's keep the idea afloat, but i am a YES.

I would love to go, but will need to decide nearer the time.

Normally, I'd be totally up for going and grooving on some great reggae vibes, but alas, I will be out of the country those days.

I am going for all three days, in fact, this is the festival I have been waiting for all summer.

Cool. Yeah I will be there all 3 days. Maybe we can all camp together or something, still 3 weeks to go though.

Its only 2 weeks away now, I just got my tickets in the post, but there should be plenty of time to order tickets if you wanna come. It would be cool to have a little group camping there. Let me know if you are interested.

I'm thinking about going...were do you purchase tickets... hopefully the weather will be nice as I am without a tent though I do have a sleeping bag...has anybody been there before I want to know what I can bring in and what I can't ...late.

Hi BenE. You should go, apparently in previous years it has sold out, and theres only 11 days to go, so you might want to think about getting a ticket soon. You can order online and pay cash on delivery at http://www.chiemsee-reggae.de/shopping/. Click on "bestellen" to order online, and pay for it and pick it up at your post office. Click on the Eventim link to pay by credit card and get your tickets in the post. Or if you want to go in and pick up your ticket, choose the closest place from this list.

You are not allowed (this is in the actual festival area rather than the camping area): Glass bottles and glasses, cans or plastic bottles. Cardboard casks are permitted. No dogs or cats allowed in the festival area either.

No open fires in the camping area but BBQs are ok.

And absolutly no drugs allowed either!

hey kza, unlucky me i have a company-wide meeting on friday and i have to be there, so it looks like i cannot go afterall. i have a wedding to go to on saturday that is why friday would of been interesting.
all work and no play, makes jane a dull girl.

did want to go but managed to book myself up this weekend so not gonna be able to I'm afraid.
