I am down with the crap expensive beer gripe and here is what is stated about Harlander's on the TT start page:
At €3.70 for Beck's and 30 cent automatic tip, what would H&Q be classified as? super expensive? 12€ (24DM) per maß shiite? 17+DM cocktails?
The service wasn't bad considering there was only one server. The bartenders were good, but tipping themselves is outrageous. In the states, you would be immediately fired for doing that.
Overall, I wouldn't put it at crap, but maybe uppity? The 8€ entrance fee, I have no problem with and would gladly pay twice that much if it were to meet my expectations.

yes, that's it! it was fairly empty when i looked in, so i only focussed on the dodgy carpets and wallpaper. probaly depends on the night?
anyway, the manager was willing to let me have it for no alcohol-consumption -guarantee whatsoever. nice man!
