So, that was fun. But next time I think I'll pretend I don't speak German so I don't have some crazy Berliner rant at me for half an hour about the Iraq war and how he has to get fingerprinted when he goes to the US and make me miss the last U-Bahn and walk back to Alexanderplatz.

I had a lot of fun last night, a few too many beers me thinks! Feeling rough sitting at my desk! Want to get back to bed as soon as I can, for a few hours that is before I hit the town again! I know globalgirl is up for it! Maybe we will get lucky and see Mr Bling and Belly!

Me too...was a great night. I just have to think of somewhere equally as good to go next week

Although it doesn't really matter where we are as long as there is beer and the people are having fun...

Will be there with bells on for the Thursday night ... er, Wednesday night drinks. Thanks to gooner gal for giving us Yanks time off to celebrate the best holiday of the whole year. I am excited to go all the way to Kreuzberg and will bring my compass and maybe a thermos just in case.

I want to meet up, but I will be there Thursday night. Anyone for a late night drink???

Hey, so the concert is in Kreuzberg as well, so I suppose we might meet y'all before or after.

There will be no tall dorkiness two weeks in a row (i know, applause, applause--or maybe better yet, "What the f is he talking about") as this falls on b-day and i already have plans for alte cantina via currandero. Of course, if anybody wants to get loose to semi-bad 80's music at alte cantina (believe me, they bump it) and have shaky mezican with excellent service at currandero, y'all are more than welcome.

Anyhow, I would love to get in touch with English native speakers. Just got back from visiting friends in the US (Arizona and Pennsylvania) and already miss speaking English. Hearing only German 24/7 is SO boring...

Drinks nights are definately open to all. We normally get anywhere from 15 to 25 people. As soon as this Scottish chick gets herself organised and picks a local, feel free to just come along. A couple of us have photos on our profiles to help spot us.

Sad that I wont be there. Feel like I'll be missing out. But travel I must. Been sitting still too long. Will be away in Ireland and Denmark for two weeks. Will see you all when I get back and everything is in full christmas mode.

Wow, have fun in two of my favorite countries! I've been in Denmark so many times, mostly as a kid, and I really need to go back. There has only been one trip to Ireland yet, but I will make up for that at some point. Anyhow, enjoy your vacation!!

Being that I am sometimes viewed as the other half of global girl, I may be small but my aura is at least 5' 7 1/4", I feel it is my duty not only to be there and square, but to bring double the energy to make up for my friend on heiatus. Hey, so I just noticed the Geoff Berner show at Kaffee Burger doesn't start until 22:00, so if we have Thursday night drinks in Mitte next week those of us going to the concert can make an appearance early. Anyone know a good place near Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz?

Ok, So I have taken pictures form a fantastic Thursday night/Friday morning, lost my voice...made a few folk happy!
