Have fun everyone! I just got out of the hospital today, and I am supposed to stay home for a few weeks...see you all in 3 weeks or so! Have fun tonight!

Well it looks like I missed a couple a great nights out over the Christmas hols! Nevertheless, now I'm back I'm planning on making it to as many Thursday nights as possible!

Sooo.. any suggestions on tonight's venue yet? Wiggle - you mentioned "Hairy Mary's" - sounds good to me as it's always a good night there! ...or this "Baiz" place? What do we think?

Failing anything tonight, I may join you in celebrating everyone's birthdays tomorrow Globalgirl! Oh, & sorry to hear about your hospital trip Venus - hope you get well soon!

What time do people usually start showing up to these events and how long do they last? Just curious. Im a newbie here and I dont want be "that guy" standing alone in a dark corner waiting for everyone to show up.

Due to the weather forecast (HEAVY STORMS) I don't think I'll make it out there tomorrow. Wouldn't want to be blown away! Next Thursday I'll be in Hamburg. Oh well, at SOME point I will be back again, I'm sure.

No can do guys - but hopefully in 2 weeks when I have Friday off (that means I can play thurs nite!). I will note we need to make sure it's at someplace I can take my pup though...

But we're not walking all the way out to the bar. and the bar is an indoors location... I should at least expect the canadians to make it. I've gone to school in waste deep snow at -30, blizzard conditions. and I didn't even want to go to school.

On the west coast, we don't know what -30 feels like, but we get these crazy wind and rain storms (worse than this for sure...not that I've been outside though) a few times a year. I'd brave it, but I still have to stay home (tonsils.)

Yuk! Even if lived closer to "Oscar Wilde" I would still stay home. It's scary!

As promised, just to let you know, fellow Toytowners, I braved the weather and made it home safe. Globalgirl, you are in charge of the "I survived the Berlin Storm of '07" badges to hand out next week. Fun time as usual! Good night all.

Since I am one of the few Scots in Berlin, I shall be attending Rabbie Burns night with my fellow Scot at Hairy Mary's. So Thursday night drinks for me will be there, and probably followed by a club! So for those of you who are hard enough to take on us Scots drinking...see you from 8pm!

I hear that there will be free whisk(e)y...could be messy!

Hopefully there wont be another "storm" to prevent people from being able to leave their homes. See you all thursday!

I have no idea what club it will be! It was more of Globalgirl's idea, I am sure she will suggest a place, or we can just decide on the night!

As to this clubbing rumor. Turns out I've got a very busy day on thursday and friday so will be putting off any plans for a super late night til fri/sat night. (although hairy mary's never really works out to be all that early of a night on it own...)

I hate to miss another drinks night, and especially Burns Night (I'm 1/8 Scottish myself), but I think it's wiser not to hobble through the snow on crutches. Hopefully next week, after I get the cast taken off.

It seems that the baton has been lost for a while but luckily globalgirl found it on Friday night & passed it to me!

Therefore, for this week's Thursday Night Drinks, I'm going to suggest 'Malheur' which can be found at 17 Gneisenaustraße in Kreuzberg. The closest U-Bahn, not very surprisingly is U Gneisenaustraße on the U7 (which is about a minute walk from the bar!).

Malheur has table football and a pool table downstairs. They have offers on cocktails before 8pm and from 11pm until closing. They also sell food including pizzas but I have a suspicion that they order in a takeaway & serve it on a plate cos I keep seeing pizza delivery guys there!

Anyways, let's say 8:30pm this Thursday (1st Feb) at Malheur! I hope to see you all there!
