Rosa Luxemburg Platz (tram M8) is not too far either.

I'm going to be a bit late getting there. Would anyone be able to arrive closer to 8'ish and bring a couple pieces of paper saying TT on them to put on the ends of the tables so that new people can find us?

Yes great idea I'll bring my decks and amps. I know this band without a home they will gladly do a full kicking set at Johnny's party if he puts them up. they mostly do jesus jones and mary chain covers .. and weddings. They wont stay long... only till there van gets fixed.

I'm new to Berlin and to this site! The thursday night drink meet up sounds really good, but sadly on thursday I am not in Berlin... so if there is ever one on another day please let me know! I would really like to meet some people out here, I moved here two weeks ago from London...

There's always tons of people wanting to meet up. I'd suggest just picking some place and a time and posting up a suggested meet up on a new thread.

My final Thursday night drinks approaches...boohoo (although I think my liver will be relieved). I don't have any suggestions, but selfishly I'd love somewhere in Kreuzberg (or Prenzlauerberg)? (Friedrischain is always such a pain to get to from the darkest depths of Schöneberg). Gonna miss you lot...!!!

I am rattling my brain to think of a nice place.

Was in Denmark last week and was completely computerless for nearly 5 whole days. Really looking forward to getting out for a drink this Thursday.

So any suggestions on a K-berg or P-berg location? The emptier the better, as we tend to take the place over.

I'm leaving Berlin on Friday and I am having a bit of a party in Hairy Marys. Time to bring TT drinks back home.

For some after drink fun, does anyone want to go to escobar at bohanan! They having a carnival party to celebrate their 10th birthday, full of reggae, dancehall and soca! I've been there before and it a really good night!

For any of you who have not heard the very sad news, Vince Chew (vincecanada) was killed in an accident this past weekend. If anyone has any photos, memories of Vince, or notes of sympathy that you would like sent to his family in Canada, please bring them to drinks this week, and Sarah (globalgirl) or I will make sure they are passed along.

I'll post details of any more formal memorial service when it's been arranged.

Oh My. I'm sorry to hear about Vince.

He was always nice guy to chat with, had a ready smile. I remember him showing up one night to Thurs. drinks in the middle of summer wearing a suit and tie and was teasing him about being overdressed. He admitted he was quite warm but it was worth it - - he had come directly from working with disabled kids at a track meet and had dressed up for the event. After that, I had a whole new world of respect for him.

I may have some photos of him from when I first moved here - I'll dig through tonight and will be in touch if I do.

So I guess this week is at Hairy Mary's then. See you all tomorrow.
