Will be fantastic to have a thursday night at hairy mary's again. haven't been there in ages.

Benny, new people are definitely welcome. Usually you just gotta look for a somewhat mixed group of English speakers.. but this week we'll be going to Hairy Mary's so pretty much the entire bar will be us (it's quite small).

Trust me it won't be hard to spot us - I'll gamble a beer on it.

For any newbies who are geographically challenged as myself I find it easier to find Hairy's taking the M2 and getting off at the PrenzlauerAllee/Metzer str stop, crossing the road towards Netto then following Belforter str to Diedenhof Str. (the second street) and chucking a right - from there on your home and hosed or at the very least two seconds off a drink

we aim to completely reconstruct the english language until we have our own complete dialect such as the scottish.

Fortunetly for you, your dialect will be totally understood, although not necessarily comprehended! Scottish folk tend not only speak too fast, but fail to open their mouths to let the words out and thus sound like we are mumbling all the time to the untrained ear!

Aye is no matter who buggering up the english language is, because it all much entertainment makes.

i speak auslich you speak scotlich, everyone speaks denglich lets call the whole thing stuffed.

Or take the M2 one more stop to Knaackstraße, get off the front of the tram, walk in front of it and cross the street, then take Knaackstraße to the second left, which is Diedenhoferstraße. I swear that's shorter and easier.

My personal favourite in getting to Hairy Marys is a TAXI woohooo, they are my best friend! Especially at 5am and a the thought of a 5 minute walk!

The inside is a little small but there is a large(ish) covered outside terrace area.

So what's the consensus

Forecast looks okay-ish so we might be alright outside. Hopefully it's not too quiet or good_grief will get marginally upset again...

yeah - i don't think it was good_grief who was upset about having to be quiet. LOL I thought it was a certain lovable scottish lass... tee hee - and not because they had to be quiet, but more because the servers TOLD THEM TO BE QUIET.

Seriously, why operate an irish pub in a place where natives can't behave themselves... NATIVELY (LOUD!!)...

things normally kick off about 8 but 8:30 is a safe time to get there not many english speaking people in this bar so if you hear english it most likely will be us.
