Ok, so me and the old slapper Jenny L have been talking and decided that since it's gone Oktoberfest and not yet Xmas, we require a few mass bier and a chat about nothing in particular.

Anyway, the venue is the Hofbrauekeller on Wiener Platz/Max-Weber Platz tomorrow Fri 17th Nov ( as i write) at 16.00/4pm.

All invited and anyone with sprogs please come along as well as they have an attended creche/ entertainment room for the little ones with videos, playground and lots of shit to keep them happy right next to where we are sitting.

It's a good start to the weekend, you know you should biggrin.gif .

See you there, anyone unsure of where it is, PM me or Jenny ( the old slapper)

Carm
might come for a drink, but cannot stay late, as I have to work very early on saturday. dry.gif
wahoo
4pm? Sheesh.

I may be by a bit later smile.gif Sounds like a great idea.
bluedave
I'll be the guy in a dress biggrin.gif

Only kidding, you have to come to the Xmas Party for that dubious spectacle laugh.gif

Having seen some of the spectacular party dresses Jenny L is creating for you, I find it hard to believe that you have "nothing in particular" to chat about. laugh.gif I'd be tempted to join you, party dress or no, but I don't think I'll be able to make it tomorrow unfortunately.

I can vouch for the babysitting at the Hofbräukeller. It's fab. I park my kid there all the time. ph34r.gif Seriously, any mommies needing a break should consider stopping by tomorrow afternoon for free babysitting a drink and some lovely conversation with a transvestite and an "old slapper" (apparently). unsure.gif
ian
Dont get complacent! Mine escaped from the "child minding" there and was discovered outside!
I suppose it helps if you sit on the tables directly at the kiddies area. If there is any space left.
mere
oh sadness... i wish i could go! but sadly i'm working. the mom's going out of town, but not leaving until 5:30 otherwise i'd bring the kiddos and dump them off at the childminder and hope they escape and get lost (joking hahah joking after over a year with them i love these girls as much as i hate the spoiled little brats)
Scogs
sounds good, bring bisto
edit: private joke
DDBug
Oh! Gotta convince the mini-bugs that this will be fun ...

Actually, I don't trust anyone with my kid, so I always sit closeby. But at 4 in the afternoon that normally isn't a problem. wink.gif

Edit: DDBug-- it IS fun (for mommies).
bluedave
Bisto will be there as will G if i can work it wink.gif
Carm
been there with friends and their little buggers, and the kids had a great time playing and watching videos- was nice to be able to talk to my friends without worrying about the kids.

, you know you should .

Actually I know I shouldn't as I'm busy tomorrow morning and need to prepare etc.

"Shouldn't" however isn't good enough so I'll come along a bit later, around 7-ish.
Jenny L
So is anyone planning to be there right at 4? I'll try to get there on time... but will most likely be running a bit late.
Renia
I wanted to come, but can't...unless you are still all there a lot later in the night ph34r.gif
Jenny L
Anything's possible. A "quick beer" with Dave usually ends up being 6 large beers. unsure.gif
honeebeaz
Oi, bluedave, how are we ever gonna get that plane to fly *with passengers in it* if you keep f***ing off for an early beer every day?! tongue.gif
DDBug
I'm trying !! I'll either be early with the mini bugs or later without them.

(Would actually prefer early this time- since I have to work tomorrow)

DDBug
Wooo Hoooo!!! Weekend here I come! smile.gif

OFFs, and SiM tongue.gif - I am ouuttaa here!!! (unless the phone rings in the next 5 minutes that is ph34r.gif )
Kay
What was your number again? wink.gif
bluedave
Just home to shower and change and then off to the HBK biggrin.gif

See you there smile.gif
Scogs

bluedave

maybe it's a military aircraft! wink.gif
bluedave
The "passengers" on our aircraft are all dressed in khaki or cam and do as they are told wink.gif
bluedave
I have it on good authority that a certain Irish speaking Froggy will be joining us later too wink.gif
Renia
@Bluedave, don't let Jenny L eat obadtza...remind her of Steel Magnolias (she'll know what I mean...)
honeebeaz
@ bluedave: hey, you've got HBK shares that you're resorting to such a drastic advertising strategy?!
Must hurt for an Englishman... tongue.gif
sarabyrd
I just got a panic call from Scogs, he thought he got the wrong place as no one is there yet biggrin.gif
Carm
BD, thanks for the beers- i really needed those last few!
Well, gotta get up early for work... (taking me far too long to type- must be the beers?), watch either the vent thread or the Burnout thread about that.
Aussie Steve
I wish I had checked my Toytown earlier I was looking for a reason to have abeer. Ah well at least I made one up for tomorrow. Was dragged into Ikea instead sad.gif

Aussie Steve
Carm
thought you were leaving? So why go to Ikea?
Aussie Steve
