Title says it all. What is your current addiction or addictions? I am currently addicted to Cherry Coke- cannot seem to get enough of the stuff, and Jelly Bellys. Darn that Rewe for putting in a Jelly Belly Station.

Fig-caramel chocolate thingies from Lindt (although chocolate is now verboten at my house til Christmas as I'm trying to lose the Obatzda/Biergarten weight from summer

).
Toytown. Toytown is my addiction. I know it's bad too- because sometimes I actually prefer hitting the refresh button to see the new posts on TT instead of going for a quick smoke.

Really? Well, I do think there are some others with the same addiction.

While I wouldn't yet describe it as an addiction, I have noticed that my consumption of Marmite has increased since I joined TT. I haven't yet tried smoking it or injecting it, but I wonder if this is something I should be concerned about?

Sudoku. Anyone else suffer from this?

Moi, except that mine is not a full-blown addiction (only because of the amount of time I spend on Toytown).

Bloody Sudoku. The whole concept drives me to despair. Get a really crap cartoon, give it a crap japanese name, and kids love it. Same shit with sudoku. Get a really rubbish little mensa entrance quiz puzzle, give it a crap japanese name, and people love it. ITS A MATHS PROBLEM. I bet every education board in the world is currently thinkning of stupid japanese words to apply to history, biology and physics to make kids think its cool to study.

I wish you hadn't told me about that, it sounds like the path to total mental and physical disintegration.

The other day, after an intensive Sudoku session, I found myself having repeated flashbacks, seeing rows and columns and squares full of numbers and being unable to concentrate on what was going on around me. I think I need professional help.
QUOTE (don_riina @ Nov 17 2006, 1:26 pm)

No, it isn't. Nothing to do with adding up numbers. You could just as easily use letters or abstract symbols. That's probably what makes it so addictive.

Fuck Sudoku. In fact, fuck Japan. They make crap beer, cannot even produce decent porn, and their language looks stupid. If I am gonna get addicted to some shit, then I at least expect it to give me a decent high and make me think that Pink Floyd is awesome. I don't ned to solve some dumb grid of number crap, I have enough on my mind trying to get somebody to bring me some beer to Garching.
