Uncle Nick's leaving work do

Hi everbody,

friday 24th nov. is my last day at work (hooray!) so I´m having a work-leaving do in The Arc from 7 p.m. onwards. I´ll be handing out beer tokens and fingerfood. After this do I will not be on TT regularly for a while (NO I´m not flouncing) because I´m a member of the endangered species known as "domus noninternetius".

I hate finger food. The nails and knuckles are too crunchy.

But I'll make an exception in your case. See you next Friday.

Course we'll be there. What wouldn't we do for you. Even go down to the Arc *where we never, ever go*, like.

Oh, lord... (sigh) Looks like I'll have to break my informal "no Tiff, no singing" ban on the Arc, but I'll be there.

Scogs and I might be meeting up with my brother and his wife for dinner that evening - depends if she can keep anything in her stomach - and drop by later.

just to clarify, Sara's brothers wife Gabbi is pregnant and doesn't seem to be doing well with morning sickness...as it seems to last all day

so this is a one gig we will likely miss

Thanks for the party, Uncle Nick! First time I've been down there on a Friday night, but I think I might be going again. Had a good time. Ooh, and I finally got to meet Perdido! I just knew he would be adorable!

Oh, and I would just like to apologise for any trauma and suffering I may have caused anyone ... Slade are a band I can't stand, and especially their song "Merry Christmas". It wasn't my fault, honest, I was forced into singing it. Just wait till I catch up with the guy who put my name down for that...

Well, I'm glad somebody remembers, I was far too drunk to remember what time I left - I had a bugger of a headache the next day!
