Four stars gang up on Orion

Orion's trouble makers: A Hubble Telescope image of the Orion Nebula shows an infrared and visible-light composite indicating that a "gang" of four monstrously massive stars at the center of the cloud may be the main culprits of mayhem in the familiar Orion constellation. Hmmm, saw the Trapezium a couple of nights ago. first time for me. In a telescope it is fantastic.

Wow! Beautiful picture! smile.gif I have a different photo of the Orion Nebula as the February pic on my space photography calendar. Also this month's just titled "Nebulas" and looks suspiciously like a close-up of the same thing! But I could be wrong...

Just sounded like it was hailing outside so not really star gazing weather tonight!

am i right in understanding that the colours we see on these photos are added by computers to help us see the patterns better?
