Right then,

I have been waiting to see this for weeks. If I hadnt seen it with my own eyes I would never have believed it to be true but it is.

For those who don't know, there is a particular star prminent in the sky at the momennt named Algol in the constellation of Perseus which "winks" every 2.7 days. There is a star which orbits around that star and at the right timr it comes in front of it and eclipses the main star (does that sound sensible after one cup of glöhwein?)

Bugger it...the star goes quite a lot fainter!

I saw it with my own eyes 2 days ago at 1am. I can testify you can see it change.

If anyone wants a star chart I can develop one.

Ther are lots of these stars up there. They change brightness for different reasons. This one is the most famous.

Back to the glühwein!
