Who's around and up for going out?
Thinking Saturday night drinks and dancing somewhere - nowhere particular in mind

If you fancy getting dressed up there's a carneval party organized by the Kölner Stammtisch in Volkswirt, Kleine Hochstrasse 9-11 (a side street of Fressgass near Alte Oper). I'm always persuaded to go there by a few friends from Cologne and it's usually good fun (drinking and dancing included).

And I'm always up for a nice Sunday brunch as well.

If there's a do on the Saturday night, I'd like to drop by for a quick drink. Just the one, mind.

Sunday brunch, if it's a nice day, sounds quite pleasant and civilised too.

So, I think you can put me down as a definite maybe.

I'm around this weekend and up for something on Saturday, although I can't really do a 6 a.m. night...

but definitely want to do brunch on Sunday!

So Sarah and I are definites for Sunday brunch.

How about meeting at Textor (in Textorstraße / Sachsenhausen) at 11.30? And whoever wants to come along, just join us.

Cool, boogielicious, see you at the party then! This year it starts already at 11.11 in the morning (no kidding!) but I guess I'll be there between 6 and 7 pm. Usually it's really crowded later on and it gets difficult to get in...

no cool wigs for me, although I can rustle up a Pippi Longstockings outfit and hairdo rather quickly

Well, seeing as this carnaval thing, which I am sad to say I have to miss, seems to get quite full quite early, maybe the real party people care to join me afterwards in Nachtleben (at Konstablerwache). There's a Indie/ Elektro/ Punk party, 3 Euros to get in, studenty crowd, I like it. I'll probably be there from about 12 on with 2 German girlfriends. (Trying to get the men out with that last remark ;-)

I'm in for tomorrow...Evanna, when are we meeting up at this thingie?

Oh...duh, look's like you said between 6 and 7. Okay...should we all just count on finding each other then?

Gosh, ALL my favourite people in town , but its too short notice for me sorry, and my body is saying no to a 5th consecutive weekend in Frankfurt !! Party sounds good fun and the Textor is great, but your official photograher can't come.

By the way there's a Mannheim-Heidelberg film festival starting next week with original language films and english subtitles. Persuse the programme and if you fancy any of them just e-mail me and I can get tickets for you.
