I searched for the similar questions on TT, but there's no result. Anyone knows? Many thanks. rolleyes.gif

Mmmm... cookies...

Incidentally, is Toytown the only chat forum in the world, or are there perhaps already 10,000 forums dedicated to computers and technology that a quick Google search would reveal? Anyone knows? Please help!

Thanks for your STB-brand cookie, though the PC finds it not very tasty. I googled and found the answer. Better pull your nose out of the others' business.

Not sure what you mean by cancelling the cookie function (not you STB, I know what you mean). If you don't like cookies then go to C:\windows\cookies and delete 'em.

edit: okay so what was the answer then? and come to that, what exactly was the question?

Hi Strawberry, if you go to Help on your toolbar (top of your screen), go to Help Contents & Index and type in the word "cookies" it will tell you everything you need to know. If for some reason you really mean pop-up blockers go to Tools (also on the top of your screen) and turn them off from there.

Thank you, Jeeves. I'd thought a change in Internet Options was enough. My friend doesn't like online forums, so...hehe.

it's internet options/privacy, and then slide the doodah all the way up to the top (block all cookies)

in case you didn't find it yet smile.gif

EDIT - ok, you did find it already, fair enough

Cookie's function: eat, poop, make sure the couch doesn't float away. The dog, however, is a highly trained killing machine.

Strawberry after you've deleted the cookies don't forget to empty them out of the trash too if you don't want anyone to find them accidentally!
