Going out in Munich tonight

Elfenstar
Hey it's the weekend and I am taking the 17.44 train to Munich. Maybe I'll see ya'll somewhere around this weekend. I arrive at 20.15 from Stuttgart just in case anyone wants to greet me w/ a handfull of red roses. Hint! Hint!

(Oh man, I couldn't access the site all day. Kept getting "forbidden access" ooohh. Was good 'cause I got a lot more done at work than usual. Talk about your American work ethic! Not!)
Jake McVitie
Yep. I'll see you there honey. Looking forward to being with you again. Waddya wanna do later? Go for a quiet drink? Catch a movie? Or all night rampage at KPO?
Elfenstar
thanks for picking me up at the train station! i was pretty depressed that no one was waiting for me with those dozen red roses. that's it. i'm through w/ you. anyhow, went alone to the CAST and hoped to see you *sigh*, no one was there. oh well. you enjoy your weekend & i'll enjoy mine.
Elfenstar
oh, btw, sat in front of the cadu for 3 hours this afternoon and hoped someone would come up and talk to me. *sigh*, no chance. guess i wasn't showing enough skin. some of those girlies in munich. can't compete w/ that.
hoddysded
Elfen, do you mean that not all German women dress like streetwalkers? Are they more reserved in their fashions in Stuttgart? I've seen 5 year olds in belly shirts here in Munich for God's sake.
Sorry Jakey stood you up at the station btw.
Elfenstar
no hoddy, the girls in stuttgart also dress like they're looking for something special! but i guess that is why no one talks to me there either! hope you at least had a nice weekend. maybe i'll take a stroll in the English Garden later.
hoddysded
Have yourself a beer while you're at it Elfenstar. I bet there will be lot's of naked men to check out on a day like this one. Happy ogling.
sezie
Hi every-one. Will be off to the Seehaus in an hour or so, any-one else?
hoddysded
I was just there myself. What a great way to spend a sunshine filled Sunday!
Jake McVitie
Elf, I didn't greet you at the station because I'm now seeing someone else. She's cuter, funnier, and more intelligent that you. Sorry, but that's simply the way it is.

Now listen, just because I unceremoniously dumped you, that doesn't give you the right to start stalking me. It's over honey, get used to it!

I was sat in front of CADU for 3 hours on Saturday afternoon too. As you know, it's a student cafe. So I was sat there and I asked myself, "Do I really miss my student life?" and "Would I do it all again?". The answer? Maybe, if it was a salaried position with stock options and I could study design or drama or another course renowned for attracting a high percentage of females. I guess I must have learned something from the first time around.

But what I'd *REALLY* like to know is, how did you that know I'd be there? Where do you get your information? Out of over 6,000 drinking establishments in Munich I find it very hard to believe that you were coincidently at exactly the same spot at exactly the same time. So bitch, leave me alone!

Oh, and BTW, I've been two-timing you for over six weeks now.
sezie
After Seehaus ended up going to the karaoke thing at Günthers - what the hell is that about?? Tried my best to get drunk, but just couldn't cope. Home now. Bed time.
Jake McVitie
Elf, were you really *really* in front of CADU on Saturday afternoon? Because I really *really* was there too. Watching the talent trotting up and down Leopoldstrasse.

When I first read your post above I thought it was one of my friends having a laugh (yeah, I do have friends). But intuition tells me that they're not. Which brings me to the freaky conclusion that you really were there.

Alternatively, if someone really is toying with me then I have to concede, the last laugh is on you.

Up Yours,
Perplexed in Muc.
Jake McVitie
Sezie, you should speak to Hazza about that karaoke thing at Murphy's. He's famous for making a complete arse of himself on stage there. I've never understood the attraction of Karaoke myself. I thought about going into Murphy's late one Sunday night but steam was blowing out of the door like a boiling kettle. It must have been a stampede sauna down there. So I went to Millenium instead. Far more civilised. And more talent there too.
Elfenstar
gee jakey, if only i could play such a joke on someone w/out giving it away first. but i did indeed sit in front of the cadu on saturday from around 3-5, had a very interesting "nuts" salad, one o-saft schorle and latte macchiato. the waitress was wearing a very deeply cut spaghetti t-shirt, but she was very friendly so i gave her a big tip! she really did have a nice smile! were you *really* really there 'cause i thought i sensed a presence.
Jake McVitie
I really *really* was there. From 2.30 until about 5pm, sat immediately next to the entrance - on the right-hand side as you would go in. What's a spaghetti t-shirt? I remember two waitresses. The one that served us was wearing a black low cut top and red cut off trousers. The other waitress I can't remember because she wasn't so cute. But she had short black hair. Most probably dyed.

I wish I could say that I sensed your presence too, but being a lazy bum I flunked out of my Jedi training.
Elfenstar
hey j.: i meant spaghetti-strap t-shirt, but yup it was low, very low cut, but didn't see her shorts. sat on the far left side of the entrance as you would go in right behind the "litfassaule" (you know, where they hang all the posters), but i faced all the people. i left at 5 and walked towards Odeonsplatz. i have really curly, shoulder-length hair if you can remember anything similar. i also remember some dude walking around w/ his guitar and 3 model-types who went and sat w/ a girl who was alone. (this was all on my side)

guess destiny just played a wicked joke on us.
Jake McVitie
Oh, so you know Destiny too? Yeah, she's a bitch for practical jokes. We'll have to get our own back on her sometime. I don't remember the curly hair unfortunately. I saw so many chicks that afternoon and with age my 20:20 memory is beginning to fail me. Definately saw the dude with the four blonde model-types though. Frenchie and I commented to each other about how lucky he was.
Jake McVitie
And another thing, if elfenstar = jafe then this wouldn't be the first time that you and I have been sat at the same cafe at the same time without even realising it. Talk about Toytown!
Elfenstar
sorry, i don't get that one hun'. who is jafe? i also won't be back in munich until Oktoberfest. comin' out my way anytime soon luv'?
Jafe
I'm Jafe.
Jafe
And Jake, when were we ever sitting in the same cafe at the same time without realising it?
Jake McVitie
Jafe, according to your post in the "Going Out - Cast" thread, you and I were at Cast at the same time. You were eating peppered steak, I was going hungry.

You wouldn't happen to be a barmaid at Murphy's would you? Because that Friday evening I happened to spot one of them at Cast too. I recognised her because she once threw me out of Murphys for being drunk and obnoxious and refusing to leave at closing time. It wasn't my fault though. The bouncer started the fight. God I hate bouncers. I don't go back to Murphy's much now either. It's a miserable dark cold dungeon with over-priced food and retarded clientele. I still can't get over the price of the "Irish" breakfast (which is actually English BTW). I forgot the exact price but it's something like 12 Euros for a piece of cold soggy bacon and Tesco value-pack white toast.

And before anyone makes a joke, no I am not Jake the Murphy's pub dog.

Elf - coming out your way? No chance! I only leave Munich Zone 3 if it's an emergency, like an impending asteroid strike, a biblical-scale flood, or the Nazis are rising to power. And now that we've broken up why would I wanna see you anyway? To collect my stuff from your flat? You can keep the lot Honey.
Elfenstar
hey j., i know you're just saying those things, but you know you can never leave me. when you stop by again, you'll see the nice shrine i've dedicated to you.
Jafe
No Jake, I don't work in Murphy's. Prefer the office job option. Agree with you on the breakfasts though. Tried it once, never again.
