Mobile Monday are supposed to have meetings to talk about the mobile business landscape although they seem few and far between.
A friend and myself are working on a cellphone and web 2.0 (my, how I hate that term) app and curious if there are any people also in Munich working on mobile applications. Would anyone be interested in meeting us at a monthly stammtisch type event to share ideas/resources?

Is the intent to set up your own Stammtisch, or to rally people to go to the Mobile Monday event in the hope that getting more people there will encourage them to hold their meetings more frequently?

I've been working on the Symbian platform (Series 60) for about 6 or 7 months now. It's very much a learning process for me at the moment and I'm taking baby steps to hopefully one day starting my own game development studio based on the mobile platform as I think this is very much a hot and lucrative area for future gaming. I released my first game 2 months ago and I'm now currently working on my second one.
I guess we are working in similar environments, except that yours is more App/Ui based. I don't really think this Mobile Monday community is aimed at me and is more App based. But I think I would be interested in attending.
Thanks for the info.

We don't really mind what forum it happens in. Just curious to meet up with others doing mobile stuff. I have contacted the Mobile Monday guys and suggested we get together. Unfortunately the Munich side of things seems a little dead with the next scheduled event only in the new year.
Depending on MM, I would propose sometime towards the end of next week for an initial meeting.

Not really in the same area but mobile development all the same, the company I work for develops mobile software and server related software for Windows Mobile applications, tying things like ERP and CRM systems to mobile pdas and smartphones. Purely Windows mobile at the moment though...
