WHAT: A bunch of us are planning to go out on Saturday night and consume excessive amounts of tequila. only tequila. We've been planning to do this for the past couple of weeks, so it's just a lovely coinki-dink that it happens to be on Fasching/Carnival.
WHERE: various places up, down, around
LeopoldstrasseWHEN:
Saturday 11 November. 8-9PM until whenever the last person hurlsWHO: the more the merrier...so far, we have about 7-8 willing members including some fine people we met at the Amnesty Int'l Make Some Noise show last Friday. I foresee this turning into quite the international event (as we even have a token German person tagging along hehe *inside joke*)
So yeah, this is all just a rough plan...a 'crawl' could become a bit more complicated if we have alot of people obviously. A starting point is yet to be determined...so please offer your suggestions!

Oh, ya bugger, i would have loved to join you in my favourite quest for Tequila but this weekend it's both the
GNO and
BNO so i will miss it as will many of your target audience i suspect.

You could always start at 11.11 (that's a.m.!) when Fasching "officially" starts...

Tool is the weekend after, and yeah it's been postponed by a couple of weeks already..this weekend is the max number of nods i've gotten so far. if it's a success (and how could it not?) i'm sure there will be sequel events...
This can be seen as a G&BNU of sorts with much more potentially dangerous alcohol than beer hehe.
My recommendation is load up on greasy food beforehand, and if you are prone to losing your motor functions as the night wears on (lookin @ you redstitch

)...bring a helmet.

As redstitch so thoughtfully reminded me...I think this thread should be revived...
so we have now decided a starting point for this Quest...I think a 9-9:30PM is still a pretty good time to meet
Tacos y TequilaHerzogstr. 93, Schwabing
U-Bahn U3/6
Münchner Freiheit or U-Bahn
U2 Hohenzollernplatz (which I believe is closer)
Where we go from there...well let's just say the truth is out there, and it's looking for tequila.
If anyone knows of places in schwabing/leopoldstr. vicinity where they serve some Don Quilo, or 1800 or any decent añejo or repósado...please inform us!
So far we have about 10 people attending so far, including frenchmen, south africans, and australians oh my!
Methe

and a dutch girl!
now, the meeting point is great!
Meet there at 9h30 for the beginning. i will do my best to make a roadmap to other places of good tequila.

outstanding. This is turning into quite an international event...we should talk about world peace perhaps.

Drinking Tequila before you're already so drunk you have compromised your powers of discretion: you're either mad or ... erm ... well no actually there is no alternative explanation, you are clearly insane. Put your analyst on danger money baby...

right accross the street from Tacos is a Mexican Place with a large selection of Tequila called El Paso, great little bar run by a very friendly Mexican.
The up the street on Fallmeyerstr is a place called Namenlos- also a great selection of Tequila.
why do I know all this.
ps- I am meeting some friends at the MOC for wine earlier - maybe we can join you later.

El Patio is the best Mexican Food in the city. Also the bar tender/owner is a real tequila collector. He has some of the finest bottles I have ever seen outside of Mexico! And if straight tequila is not your thing he makes a great Margarita, no mix all fresh.

Yea...that bar guy was...a Magician!! He has bewitched us!!! And I couldn't stop...
I could be saved if only I'd put my attention on the defined SIGHN in the in the entrance of the Tacos y Tequila: DRUNK TREE!!!
There was an absolutely drunk tree in the pot lying on the ground... But I ignored it...
Actually I enjoyed, thanks a lot to all the inspirators aaand…thanks for help me to stand (was I standing?...)
deep_schismic
Nov 15 2006, 1:26 pm
'standing'..sure I guess you were standing', for a bit...

'leaning' would be more accurate.
'drunk trees'...they're an endangered species, what with the overpopulation of its greatest predator...the drunken urinating human...
