Looking at the map I located around twenty Drop Spots currently in Germany. The cities were: Dresden, Saarbrücken, Darmstadt, Bonn, Cologne, Düsseldorf, Bielefeld, Hamburg, and Berlin.

This sounds exactly like geocaching except without the GPS. My question is how long will these "drop spots" actually last. If you know they're there and they don't really blend in, then as we geocachers say...

It's gonna get muggled.

Just checked out Munich's drop spot online (Karl Theodore str.) and apparently two comments claiming it to be a hoax... Might just add one now. Any ideas on what to leave, apart from razor blades of course!

Ha, was thinking of creating a drop spot, but have decided against it now - would have been convenient for me, but not a lotta laughs for anyone else...

Does get me thinking of security issues if the wrong type of people choose to use this for their own means.

I actually forgot all about my bookcrossing membership. This is only for books unfortunately, but it leaves you without the hassle of finding Drop Spots - everbody can choose and post their own.
