So yet another leaving do is upon us ! Yup afraid I must leave Munich and back to Ireland with me (and I still don't know any German !!!). Sorry for the late organisation here. I'm afriad I'm going to be totally unoriginal and copy BigC's plans as they worked out quite well!!!

my God, the summer has finally arrived and everyone is leaving!

Its rubbish that everyone seems to be leaving I dont like it one little bit, its not right I tell ye (In best Irish accent)

Park Cafe is very cool, so of course I will come and help send you off in TT style!

and of course I'll be there too, and am also sorry to see you leave - it's been a leaving do every other week for months now...

I will come along after my German class.

Monday is the only day i can go to the gym and instead of working out i sit there and drink...

Yo Meckle -- seems like you made the big decision.

Two notes on leavings: 1) They needn't be permanent. 2) They can be made with minimal regret if you can look back and say you've tried to live life to it's fullest while there.

They often aren't. As some friends and I say, Munich sucks! It sucks you back! I can name half a dozen people without thinking hard who moved away and then moved back.

Hmm, wanna meet up with you guys and see Meckle off, but don't know what anybody looks like! Anything that will give it away?

Many thanks to all who turned up last night. Wow - I was so surprised so many people showed up. Thanks guys !! I had a great night.

And I'll like to thank the incredibly incompetent waiter for not sticking me and the 3 or 4 other hardcore alcohlics left at the end, with any extra drinks. I fail to believe he had any clue how many drinks were had by who - he was just glad to be getting rid of us I think. Jessh imagine - having to actually work when your at work !!!

Funny; he wanted to make sure we ordered from him so his boss wouldn't think he was slacking, BUT, in fact he was very much slacking and left many people dry for not unsignificant periods of time (the horror!).

It is indeed a shame to see you go meckle. You've got a place to stay during Oktoberfest!

The thing is, he didn't even print out the bill and check off to see what was paid. o he had no idea what was left open at the end . I almost went up to him and told him never to do that with a big group.

service was indeed horrible, the poor guy was probably looking forward to a quiet evening and then such a large drinking group of expats shows up. Can you believe the horror the guy must have felt.

Anyway, good luck in Irland or where ever you choose to go in the future. And come back to Munich if you have the oppurtunity.
