It's the time of year for ghosts, goblins, and Tricks or Treats. While I know that most people in Germany aren't into the whole Halloween thing, Schloss Dracula is putting on a Halloween "party" for those of us who want to attend.
Where: Schloss Dracula, Dorfstraße 9, 15711 Berlin-Schenkendorf.
This is about 3km from S-Bahn KönigsWusterhausen.
When: October 27-29, 2006
Times: Friday - 17:00-22:00,
Saturday - 14:00 -22:00,
Sunday - 14:00 -20:00.
Price: from €3 for kids to €8 for adult combi-pass (combi-pass includes halloween market and maze).
Things to do: maze, jack-o-lantern carving (and light up at dusk), arts and crafts, fire show (sounds like jugglers or something), music, and a halloween pageant with horses (this sounds like some kind of joust/tournament but that's my guess).
For more information, to buy tickets, etc. Check out: http://www.draculaonline.de/
If you go - a few things to note - a) Wear great walking shoes. b) Plan on a taxi or walking the short way back if it's after 8 pm - you may want a flashlight c) It's not alot of people, but well put on entertainment wise - and well worth the price of the tickets. This is one event that can be an all day thing for the whole family.
I'm planning on going Saturday, but thought maybe others would be interested.
