Cocktail crawl in Haidhausen

Hi boys and girls. I think it's high time we had a bar hopping, cocktail drinking, fun loving evening out in Haidhausen.

Here's the info:

When: Friday, October 27th, starting at 7pm-ish
Where: Starting at the Escobar
Why?: Why not really? It's a Friday evening.
Poison of Choice: Cocktails
Dress code: Just try to keep 'em on
Who's invited: Whoever enjoys a good mixed drink (newbies included)

The Escobar is located at Breisacherstr. 19 in Haidhausen, not too far from the Ostbahnhof (U5, or any Sbahn).

What a bummer I'm not here to join this - I love cocktails...and in Haidhausen too...would have been the perfect combination! Maybe next time...if there are enough survivors!

Ah, bummer. Considering the bunch of drunks people who have already said they're coming, I'd imagine there will be another cocktail night again sometime.

Well as I will be back in Muenchen and have now found out my previous plans were actually for the next week, I might just be inclined to stay off the Weissbier for one night only and join my favourite bunch of pissheads!

I might be up for this but it'd be more of a spontaneous thing. is it ok to just show up on the night?

I'm reading this thread and there's a little demon sitting on one of my shoulders and telling me "This looks like wicked fun!", and there's a little angel on my other shoulder saying "You have far too much work that you need to get done... you will regret it." They're engaged in a right old battle at the moment, and depending which one wins, I may or may not show up at this event.

@planetmoni: Yes, there's food at Escobar. I had a rather nice tortilla there once.

Nah, Dave, I talked to my favorite student, The Baron, last night. He's planning to come and maybe bring a friend along, so that's at least one. All of the other gents I invited either haven't replied yet or gave me a definite maybe. Perhaps I frightened them away.

no you're not dave, and i am sorely tempted to come along, it's just the one and only time i've been drinking with you and jenny l was starkbierfest and I spent the next 48hrs chundering. tbh, i'm a little scared though i am sure by friday afternoon i'll have psyched myself up enough!

@Dave- You might be the only male TTer in town who's interested in a cocktail night though. If Skoolboyerror or TBFB were here, they'd come along.

Hey, I just realised I'm approaching my 250th post (this one will be number 242). I know I'm nowhere near in the same league as Bluedave, but if he can celebrate his 2000th (congrats!), maybe I should at least have a small drinkie for my first quarter-thousand. Or am I just turning into a sick person?
