Golf driving ranges in central Munich

I heard through the grapevine that there was a golf driving range somewhere in town.

Does anyone know exactly where ?

There's a *cough* driving range next to Elixia on Leopoldstrasse which is good for short distances (up to 175 m) only.

thanks keydeck...I think I was still writing my post before I read yours...don't think you can get much closer than leo str !

There is city golf as well at leopolestr but its a very short driving range there is also something that Keydeck went to, but I cant be bothered to search for his thread

They have two Golf Courses, one in Thalkirchen. I don´t know however if they also have a Driving Range. But this is what they write about the course:

Diese 9-Loch Anlage in unmittelbarer Stadtnähe ist für Münchens Golfer die nächstgelegenste
grüne Golfoase. Nur unweit des Tierparks "Hellabrunn" und direkt am westlichen Ufer der Isar
gelegen, wird hier schon seit 1910 Golf gespielt. Die zwar nicht langen, aber sehr engen Spiel-
bahnen erfordern ein präzises Spiel. Slicer und Hooker könnten hier sonst ihr persönliches
Waterloo erleben.

Also, close to the city and the Zoo, by the Isar, is a nine hole course.
