Public transport, Wormland, and Moshammer

A few random newcomer questions about Munich

I was in Munich for a week during Oktoberfest and loved it, but I have a few questions .

They are rather stupid questions, but if you don't ask you don't learn.

1) I had some difficulty when using the bus, do the ticket machines not accept notes and do you need to have the exact change?

2) Does the inneraum zone(I know I haven't spelled that correctly) cover most of the parts of Munich that a tourist would care to see? Would it include travel to the Englischer Gardens?

3) What kind of a store is Wormland, I saw the sign for it and the name intrigued me.

4) Who is the man I kept seeing in the magazines and painted on the background of the rides at Oktoberfest, with huge hair, black hair(obviously dyed) practically a bouffant and usually pictured with a yorkshire terrier.

1. Most (If not all) of the ticket machines in the buses and trams, will only accept coins, or EC cards. For using bills, you will need to use the big blue machines at the train stations, or buy your ticket from the driver (if they still sell tickets).

2. Yes and yes

3. It's a store that sells worms for fishing... actually it's a clothes store. wink.gif

4. Rudolph Moshammer and his dog Dasiy

You should have had some beer and asked your German neighbor at the table - you would have got the full story back then wink.gif .
