Quiksilver sample sale - clothing and accessories - Munich

If anyone is interested in Quiksilver clothing, bags, etc, the company offices are having their semi-annual sample sale. They say they have samples in sizes medium and large, mens and womens, and accessories.

I work on the second floor of the building but I haven't been up there yet to check it out.

When: 18 - 21.Oct.2006; Wed, Thurs, Friday 12 - 8 pm; Sat: 9 - 4pm
Where: Frankfurter Ring 162, near the intersection of Leopoldstrasse and Frankfurter Ring.

Yes, like I said, I work in the building and there are signs on the elevators about the sale. It's open to everyone. It's their sample stuff - so they want to get rid of it.

Also want to mention that it is CASH only and no refunds or exchanges and tax is included in the price.

I went up today. It's QuickSilver and Roxy - I've never heard of Roxy, but it was all funky clothes. Everything is pretty much Medium sized. Lots of flip flops/sandals shoes in size 37 (for women), didn't check the men's sizes. They have kids stuff and lots of backpacks and sunglasses, etc. Everything is 50% off.

I don't know where you are coming from but the 141 bus from Munchner Freiheit stops at the intersection of Leopoldstrasse and Frankfurter Ring. When you get off the bus, head east and it's the third building on the right side. It has a big 162 on the front of the building.

Also, while I was up there, I was peaking through the window of the Mountain Hardwear/Columbia office/showroom - and two women walked by and said 'Raumensverkauf, beginnen nachtse Donnerstag' - the sample sale begins next Thursday. I will keep you updated. That one looks far more interesting to me.

Roxy is the women's line of Quiksilver. Quiksilver started out as a surfline for men in the 70s and then they started Roxy as their female surf line in the early 90s. Perfect Beach clothes. Love them.

Thanks KitKat64 for this wonderful post! I went there yesterday and think it is great like KitKat said, Everything pretty much M size, but I did find some T-shirt in S size (women's). Apart from clothes, bags, shoes, there's also bathing suits, watches and sun glasses. Unfortunately nothing for winter. I didn't ask but I assume that everything for clothes is 10 euro. as I bought 3 t-shirt and 1 skirt for 10 euro. each eventhough the price tag shows more than 10. Watches cost around 40-50 euro. and glasses around 25-50. that what've heard from the staff.

I went there from hauptbahnhof, took U2 to Frankfurter Ring, then bus 143 for 4 min. got off at Ingolstaedterstr. stop and another 3 min walked, it was pretty easy to find.

And you didn't stop on the second floor to say 'Hi' to me!?

Mountain Hardwear and Columbia is next week but I will get confirmation before I post again about that.

Sounds cool... but I'm looking for a funky new ski jacket- Roxy or Quicksilver being the perfect choice. Anyone know where I can get some Quicksilver winter clothing?

As I mentioned in an earlier post, Mountain Hardwear/Columbia says they are doing one this week beginning Thursday, but no signs are up yet.

I don't know. There are no signs up but I'm going to run up there today after lunch and see what's going on.
Seriously, looking though the window, I was like a kid looking into a candy store. It was beautiful.

I went up there yesterday and the doors were open so I walked in and asked one of the girls working there. She said 'the sale is for 'friends and family' but you are welcome to join in. So, I went back downstairs to my office, got a couple colleagues and went to check it out.

1) it is only Columbia stuff, no Mountain Hardwear. Women's all medium size, Men's mostly large
2) lots of winter stuff, jackets, pants, fleece stuff and lots of summer outdoor stuff (rain jackets, etc).
3) some backpacks, casual clothes, some kids stuff and sneakers and boots - they sell Sorrell boots. Sizes were all over the place.

They didn't have any official times times or anything, but if you do go, try to go during work hours and tell them that you work on the second floor for Sulzer (that's my company).

OK, update. Quicksilver/Roxy is having their sample sale - and it's on now. This time I nicked the notices from the wall downstairs so I have all the details.

spotted this post yesterday, went down today... was a bit shocked when i walked into the building haha thought it was an actual shop, so was looking a bit sheepish when i walked into the quicksilver bit lol. but they were cool wiv me being there, got 2 pairs of lush jeans/ combats for 30 euros each! which is awesome seens as they 70+ quid (whats that? about 100 euros?) in britain!!!, a nice jumper and some tops for my little sis for her bday.

nice one for the info!! much appreciated... just a shame the jackets were all 400+ euros!

I hope they have XL or XXL for their quicksilver clothings. Prior reading i bought a latest T shirt and surprising it was on 20% off too so instead of 60€+ i paid 50€+ in a belgium Galleria inno which is a Kaufhof in Germany. Will be getting there this coming week!

It was on yesterday as well. I went down there with 10 friends and we bought 5 van loads of stuff so there's not much left. The good news is that there will be a TT Quiksilver and Roxy sale next week. All items will be priced at 20% off the retail price!!!

Each item will come with a picture either modelled by JOB or Wizadora. Anything not reserved will be on sale at our market stall.

It's the Spring/Summer 2008 collection. I wouldn't bother going there and buying the stuff because you're not entitled to a refund if anything goes round. However, at our sale you can bring it back and you may still find us there.

This is the owner of the stall and the guy you can speak to about refunds.

At approxmately what UK size does the Roxy medium come out at? 10? 12? Cheers.

nah Roxy moved out a while ago. Still a clothes sale going on there but not Roxy stuff any more. In fact most of it is dirndls and lederhosen from the shop across the road which closed down after the fest (20% off now i think).
