tuca and I are having some serious sushi cravings and are hoping to quell them with all you can eat sushi at Fuji. Cost is around 19 Euros to ride the sushi train.

The plan is to meet in front of kaufhof at rotkreutzplatz at 7:30pm. Anyone and everyone else welcome as well, just try and RSVP by Wednesday afternoon so we'll know if a reservation is required.
VDB
count me in!
Izabella
oh... i've been dying for sushi for ages now... and would love to try a new spot... i'm there!
tench
Live around the corner but won't be able to get there before 8.30..

I'll give you a shout to see if you're still there and will come and clear up the leftovers!
DrivinWest
Actually, there are a few very interested folks but most can't show until 8ish. I propose we meet in front of kaufhof at rotkreutzplatz at 8:00pm and head in shortly there after. If you can't show until 8:30, don't sweat it.

We've got 5-7 interested. tuca, maybe a reservation for 8?

tuca
reservation has been done... hehehe, the funniest conversation...wonder what will come out of it...as long as we get the tables...

because of the all-you-can-eat deal thing, we usually sit there for loooong hours, until someone has to roll us out of there...it is great!!! cant wait, cant wait, cant wait!!!

if you need to get in touch, pm drivinwest for my number ( I am going offline now)

see you guys at 8!!!

ps,anyone up for milch&bar afterwards?!?!?!?
Izabella
hi peeps... i'll be driving [there at least depending on how much sake i imbibe tongue.gif] so i'll just meet you @ the restaurant @ 8 not @ kaufhof...
DrivinWest
Izabella, copy that. We should be a pretty obvious group to spot, but just in case there are heaps of English speakers there I'll be the tall guy that apparently looks like skinny version Britney's ex.
MatchNL
lol, i gotta show u a pic of my buddy, Pete, back home. He's like your twin, DW... except with curly hair
Izabella
ok... i'll just look for the guy that looks like someone i know... since everyone seems to think you look like someone they know tongue.gif
Izabella
btw @DW... i LOVE homestarrunner!!! *grin* have you seen the one about techno music. hillllllllllllarious... laugh.gif
DrivinWest
"The switch is for turning the lights on, and off. NOT FOR THROWING LIGHT SWITCH RAVES! Now let's go pour that glowstick in Homestar Runner's Mountain Dew."
Izabella
omg... i just laughed so hard i sprayed green tea on my keyboard...
DrivinWest
Too bad it wasn't Mountain Dew, but you still did make a wet compyootuh out of Izabella's compyootuh biggrin.gif

P.S. after the "end," KEEP WATCHING.
VDB
Great night, the 'all you can eat' turned out to be large qualities of good quality. Didn't need to eat breakfast this morning! cool.gif
Izabella
good food, good saki [i'll skip lunch pre-devourfest next time] and good crew... although i wouldn't be entering you guys in any dart tournaments any time soon wink.gif

DW... you're hilarious hombre... don't forget to cough me up those links...

p.s. thanks again for leading me to my car bastian... i would have wandered in circles... as it was i got lost 3 times driving home, took me 40mins... ugh
CodeRed
yeah, glad you found it. smile.gif

Hey, I still need breakfast, whats wrong with me??

Was a good night out, I especially liked the SHEEP MAGAZINE part...

(I am still ROTFLing just thinking of it...) laugh.gif

Okay, remembered takers for beach volleyball, and maybe we can start an official GT3 Tournament sometime soon.

"I like em nicely trimmed."
DrivinWest
I'm still full. I was actually in pain last night from eating so much, and I did the smart thing and topped off a trawler's worth of fish with Guiness. Reeaalll smart.

Oh, and for those of you who didn't join us on the U-Bahn you missed out on a very entertaining fellow; some guy (or as tuca would say, "your man" asked me for a Euro for a ticket so I gave him one. He came back a few minutes later wanting to thank me for the money and did so by offering me an Augustiner Helles. This sounded great until he opened it with his teeth. He then proceeded to talk to us for the 20 minutes we had to wait for the train, however I didn't understand anything he was saying. A glazed look in our eyes and random replies like, "no way!" "you're kidding?" "no, Animal was the drummer on the Muppet Show" failed to dissuade him from talking to us anymore.

But anyway, def a good time. I wouldn't mind doing it again (maybe a different venue) on a weekend night and then heading off to a slightly more lively place than Ryan's Muddy Boot. Takers?
3 Lions
Next time I'm in, but dont make it a Mon or Wed, if thats the only night its all you can eat, make it a tad later and I will come after my German lessons.
Izabella
@DW... was the pub not "lively"? i didn't notice dry.gif fortunately we filled out the cowboy's interior designed closet biggrin.gif

i'm def up for sushi again pronto... stuff is as addictive as red bull blink.gif

wonder which one has the best centerfolds?
DrivinWest
You know, sheep area great; I wear wool, I sometimes eat them, but for f*ck's sake how much can there possibly be to know about sheep to warrant a monthly publication? Seriously, does sheep hearding/shearing change so much on a monthly basis?

I'm calling this for what it is; Welsch, New Zealander, and West Virginian PORN.

A quick search on google... biggrin.gif

Rams? Wasnt there a football team in LA by that name? I think that would have suited them...

Check this out, right out of the article:

"
Rams, like all intact male breeding animals, will act-well, rammish-especially during the rut season. This is normal and natural and the way it should be. Rams often don't get the respect they deserve, but their bad reputations are usually due to human mismanagement.

and i quote

if you are a female sheep, what you do to solicit sex is to stand still.
Maybe there is a female sheep out there really wanting another female,

i think not huh.gif

West Virginian

Nope DW -- I can tell you've never been to my home state, now maybe in Arkansas or Up State New Yawk, but never in the Mountain State. tongue.gif
VDB
Sounds like next time we should try out a place which serves sheep...

and DW, you had some welsh ancestry hadn't you, well now I understand biggrin.gif
DrivinWest
Welsh ancestry yes, but FRACTIONAL - like 1/256th. Any sheep loving has been totally bred out of me and replaced with a penchant for windmills and bagpipes.

I should be there next sushi night!! It's been too long since I've had any.
CodeRed
having heard about all the sheep you got tempted, didntcha, bubblegum?

:-)
VDB
a tread about eating sushi ends up in dirty sheep talk biggrin.gif

But we definitely should do this more often, how about a Wednesday in two weeks time?
Izabella
28th? works for me... that's the day after i get back to germ
