Which TT'ers have you met off-forum?

I think many of them know each other quite well, but I only know two or three people here in RL. I probably know others as well, but it is tricky to match up TT names to real people

I think you've probably met more than 3, but just didn't realise it.

It would be interesting to see how many fellow-Toytowners each of us have met outside the forum. It would also be interesting to see how many of us have only met through the forum, rather than knowing each other beforehand.

I bumped into Mr Aquatic Meringue when he was in Ned Kellys for his birthday booze up. It was literally a 2 second meeting, because I was about to leave at the time to go home and cook stuff (for a change).
I see a few postings for meeting up, but they're normally on weeknights, and my job is soooo boring, I cannot handle coming into work with a hangover!!
Also, I don't live in the city, so once I am home, from work I have very little motivation to move my arse and go back into town! My TV addiction does not help alot.

I have often wondered how many TTers I have actually seen in places like Neds and not known who they were.

Funny you should say so don cause I've been in Kilians with a fellow TTer and we thought the exact same thing..."is that don_riina?" Alas, you weren't wearing your chef's hat so we couldn't tell.

I've met all the "usual suspects" from TT but initially met them through that Site That Shall Not Be Named. So about 8-10 people in all.

Could have been me! I am often there.
Sadly, I don't own a chefs hat anymore. The last one I had was thrown down in disgust as I quit the last real kitchen I worked in back in 1996. Quitting a kitchen in a rage of temper is so much more fun that having to write a letter to your boss and give 3 months notice or whatever. Bloody office life. :x

Maybe I'll get a new one just so you know who I am Hoddy.
Congrats on the wedding by the way. Getting married over here I take it? We're finally getting around to planning our wedding at the moment. Looking to get married this time next year. So many beautiful places in Bavaria, its just a matter of finding the right one.

Enjoy your day!

Pootle (but I don't think he knew it was me...)

Although I know Pootle is someone who is a male of the species, I always think of a female when I read the name. Funny, innit?

Boooaah! Mr Spudbury - respect! You get about a bit you do - that may clinch the record...

I met about 6 or 7 of yer last week in one fell swoop. Was absolutely painless, surprisingly!

I've met one Toytowner and I think I may have seen a table full of others in Killian's. I only think that because there was a mixture of Irish/British/American accents, and, I've seen the same people sitting at that table on other occassions. Maybe I'm wrong?
