We are a couple of huge Texas fans living in Marburg. We are looking for information on where we might be able to watch the Texas vs OU football game this saturday night. The Marriott American Sports Bar in Frankfurt says they are only showing baseball playoffs saturday. Anyone have any ideas?
Yours American Bar on Bergerstrasse might -- give them a ring:

they have premiere and sky sports.

I would suggest Sam's Sports Bar in alt-Sachsenhausen. They are the official bar of the Frankfurt Galaxy gridiron team and the players regularly go there. I noticed they had a live NFL game on the other evening..
Pretty cool place also, loads of plasma screens and very good value for money.

I'm a big NFL fan and, being in
Bornheim, I can highly reccommend the Yours bar as a cool place to watch it. Sam's bar is meant to be cool too though and at last count they had 378 screens in there

so you should be able to watch the game you want !!

Thanks for all of the tips, everyone! It looks like I might be able to catch the game at either Yours or Sam's. I found out that the US Armed Forces Network will be showing the game, so I called both of those places. They both carry the AFN networks, so I think I'm in business!! Really appreciate the help!! Good to know. I recall that Premiere was showing the playoffs earlier this year, but not sure if they are showing the regular season games for the NFL so far.
But thanks for the info on the two sports bars. It gets old checking the Internet play-by-play to get the SEC results or listen to dropped Internet broadcasts!
