Tri-nations Rugby - NZ vs Aus - Sat 17th July 2004

Yes it's that time of the year again... Tri Nations 2004 and this weekend Australia take on the Mighty All Blacks in Wellington, 7.35pm kick off which I'm pretty sure transposes into 9.35am here (need to get that right as if this Fri is anything like last Fri there's no possibility to think about it on the day).

Not having been to GM's to watch a game, I'm presuming that they have the big screen out? (anyone confirm/deny?). So Aussies/Kiwi's - first game of the tournament, make sure you're there to support your team.

PS. There is a trip to Andech's planned for this Sat - I for one still want to go, so any patriots who want to watch the game and still go to Andech's - that's the plan. Hopefully pootle can save us a seat...

Wouldnt the aussie pubs be a better bet than an irish pub? (Talking about betting, I see the TABs paying $1.40 for a NZ win, $2.85 for Aussie) I will ring some up later this afternoon and see whos showing it and get the time confirmed. Outland is not a bad place to watch rugby games either im pretty sure they will have it. If we want to get to Andechs as quick as poss afterwards, something close to an S-Bahn station would be ideal.

bondi's near to the s-bahn. (and a sponser of TT) i pretty sure they'll have the screen up. well i hops so as i'm going to be doning a black shirt and get up early to visit them.

Kza yeah you're probably right. Only being new in Munich I have absolutely no idea where the best place to watch the game would be, so will take your guidance! Saw that GM's had a big screen but if there's a better place then let me know.

I just rang the aussie pubs, Bondis not playing it, Outland isnt sure yet, but Ned Kellys definitley are. 9am they told me.
