Just to let you know a few of us will be heading to Schöneberger tonight for a few drinkies.

It is on Bergerstr. U Bahn stop Bornheim Mitte

See you there

i think the Flammkuchen at Schöneberger is defo the best i've had, simply delicious.
not sure when I will be there tonight, forgot about a prior engagement that i've got at 9pm so will try and get down there for 8 for a drink or two, otherwise I will be there quite a bit later on

looking forward to the curry night tomorrow! biggrin.gif

You too have obviously not eaten in Flamm's in Bad Homburg tongue.gif

Much better than Schöneberger in my opinion. Not that Schöneberger is not nice though

Just never order the Grosse Kase Teller !!!

arghhhhh!!! almost had a heart attack caused by the outrage I suddenly felt at remembering the Käseteller incident...

mad.gif

suffice to say that it is the one place in my restaurant guide to get null points for "value for money relating to portion size".

plus the waitress wasn't exactly too sympathetic

apart from that, the hot food is fairly decent, do like the place, great atmosphere.
Little Britain
actually I think the contents of the Grosse Käseteller would easily fit onto a saucer, with room to spare

grosser käseunterteller then.

Don't remind me of the Käseteller! mad.gif grrrrrrrrrr mad.gif

I think this incident occured when I was in the UK on a hen party if I remember rightly?
Purple Muffin
But when we went there for my birthday I remember the portions to be quite big? At least I think my boyfriend ate half of my burger as couldn't manage it.

I didn't see the Käseteller on the menu though or is it on the breakfast one dry.gif
Gen
I've skipped lunch myself, maybe the burger would be just right for me then. How was it?
Little Britain
yeah the Käseteller features only on the brekkie menu.

worked out to EUR 1.50 for half a sprig of parsley if I remember the calculations correctly wink.gif

no seriously
sc52081
hey, what time are people planning on getting there? i might make it over.

Kaseteller = 8.50

Contents:
4 minscule wedges of camembert = 1 euro per wedge
4 Slices of Emmental = 50 cents per slice
2 Slice of Tomato = 40 cents per slice
2 Slices of Cucumber = 30 cents per slice
1 Sprig of Parsley = 50 cents
Sprinkled Basil = 2 cents per grain (30 grains counted)

Needless to say, despite what Nick Ross tells me, I still have nightmares !!! sad.gif

Sorry I missed you all in the end.

After coming back from the gym I kind of got stuck into some other stuff and lost track of time. I did send my apologies with Number 10 though.

Yeah, had a great time. Will be posting officially regarding Thursday Night Drinks later on today, we will make it a weekly event again, with the summer etc we always get fewer attendees, now with the winter coming on we should get a good crowd every week!

It's cool that everyone is using this board again for social meetups etc, much easier to organise things.

can't wait for curry tonight! biggrin.gif
