What I would do would be to clean it and chop it up, then put it in ice cube trays, cover them with water and then freeze it.

Easy portions, freeze quicker, no freezer burn, what I've read to do for freezing herbs.

What I always do with salad or occasionally some herbs is wash 'em and chuck 'em in one of these bags before sticking 'em in the fridge (lasts for ages) - or deep freezer if you prefer...

yup, showem's method is a good 'un. you can then measure out tsp fulls into each section and you know how much you're defrosting. good for coriander too since it only appears once in a blue moon.

I'd do the same as showem, or you could just dry the stuff. Hang it upside down for a few days, job done.

The advantage to showems method is that when the stuff is frozen and you take it out in a frozen state it is also easier to grate and add to cooking.Works great on ginger as my wife does that already
