I've got a few folks coming over in the next few weeks that would like to go mountain biking. Anyone have any clue where to rent mountain bikes? I mean hardtail or fully. Either works. I just can't seem to turn anything up but your standard cruiser. Hell, I work for Mike's Bike Tour's so that's easy.

Where to rent a 'real' mountain bike
If you want to go downhill, I know the bike park at Oberammergau rents really nice full suspension bikes. You'd wanna be pretty good to hit their downhill trails though.

If you're riding around Tegernsee there's a bike shop just on the south side of the lake that rents out bikes, just the other side of Rotach Eggern. I forget what they're called but I heard positive reports about the place. Don't know if you'll find any single speed though
