So who now? Harry 'Mr. West Ham' Redknapp would be great, but I can't see him coming up the A3.

This new chairman will definitely want to get a big name.
Rumor going around is that it might be SGE (But does he know how shite SGE acutally is)!!!

Its pretty sad to see padrew go this way. 6 months back he was in the FA Cup finals and 7th or 8th in the league. He should have been given more time IMHO.
Sin
Please. Don't mention The Swede Who's Name Must Never Be Spoken. My father (The Great 'Ammer 'imself) is poorly with a dickie ticker, and I can't afford to hire Yeti's funeral suit at the moment. sad.gif

Yup, here we go. Alan Curbishley approached by West Ham.

Big surprise eh ? laugh.gif

Lehmann complains at 'terribly insulting' Lampard. Aw! Bless!

I have this vision of Fat Frankie wobbling up to Jens and whispering, "Your father was a hamster, and your mother smelt of elderberries."
Yorkie
And all Jens really had to say as a comeback was "And your father played for West Ham!"
I feel some abuse coming on tongue.gif

The Beeb says Curbishley will be announced within the next 48 hours.

Looks like Joey Barton may at last get the recognition that he deserves with a callup against Spain in february smile.gif
XabiAlonso
And, to no-one's surprise, West Ham appoint Curbishley.

I'm just surprised that Roeder, who I thought was a cert to be the first Prem manager to get the sack, is still employed.
XabiAlonso
Cracking start for Curbishley as West Ham beat the horrible Mancs 1-0. Fathead committed about five bookable offences and should have been sent off, the fatheaded chav.

Meanwhile, in some dilapidated sh*t tip at the north end of Stanley Park, the Bitters take the lead twice against Chavsea but somehow contrive to lose after wonder strikes from Fat Frank and Drogba in the last ten minutes.

Can someone please explain this shit to me ? blink.gif

West Ham captain Nigel Reo-Coker received death threats and racist taunts after Alan Pardew's sacking as manager.

Now, i saw an interview with Reo-Coker after the game on Sunday and the reporter alluded to something about him having something to do with Pardew's sacking but i'm totally in the dark about it.

Can someone please enlighten me ? huh.gif
XabiAlonso
Don't know too much about that, but I did hear from a Hammer that he had been acting all Billy Big Bollocks after the attention he was getting last season. Apparently he was saying on the training ground "I should be playing for Arsenal or Manchester United by now", to which Teddy Sheringham, to his eternal credit, is said to have responded "You don't know the first thing about playing for a club like that."

Seems that Taggart is looking to strengthen the Stretford 49'ers offense with a look at Werder Bremen's Polish German striker Klose. huh.gif
JOB
Rangers manager Paul Le Guen has left the club by mutual consent.
Chairman David Murray said: "Having met with Paul it was clear that in the interests of the club we agreed jointly to him stepping down as manager."

The Frenchman had stripped Barry Ferguson of the captaincy after claiming the player was undermining him in the dressing room.

Le Guen was in charge at Ibrox for just seven months and 31 games - the shortest reign in the club's history.

Might be worth putting a fiver on them to catch Celtic now! tongue.gif

20-1 with Ladbrokes!!

The dream team arrives at Rangers, Smith and McCoist.

They've certainly done a better job with the national team since they took over from old Bertie so who knows there might be a 2 horse race next year instead of only 1 team pissing on everyone else ?

A few weeks ago, before Sam Haman did all manner of shit to the bluebirds, I would have put some money on them beating spurs on Sunday, now I'm not sure.

Smith to quit Scotland and take over Rangers?

Well if this is true, then personally I think that this will only harm, if not kill Scotlands chances of qualifying for next years tournament. I think Smith should at least see out the qualifiers first. Its a shameful approach from Rangers and a cowardly exit from Smith if he takes it.
JOB
It's pretty much a done deal. With Ally McCoist in as his no. 2.

Also Rangers have just acquired the services of Celtics youth team coach Kenny McDowell.

Wonder if Rangers will be as heavily penalised as Celtic would be had they 'tapped up' the national team coach...oh the paranoia!!

mmm
not sure about this, he could do both jobs? the Scotland job to be honest is not really a full timer and he would have a seriously better insight to players managing Rangers (not as if this is new to him)...might be an idea to add a Celtic, Aberdeen, Hearts into the mix as well...it might make for a better Scotland team

PS Celtic fan here

Beckham has his palace right by my Mum and Dad's place - I confidently predict that he'll be pulling on a Spurs shirt come August since they're the local side, whereas I also confidently predict that if Pootle keeps up his smart arse comments re: my good self and Spurs, he'll be having another dent in his head quite soon. several years ago, on an east anglia radio show, the demented twiglet was asked by a very earnest chelsea fan,

" Victoria, we know David comes from London and you obviously love London life, with the fashion and clubs, I'd like to ask you something that every Chelsea fan would love to know...do you take it up the arse ?"

just thought i'd share...

Beckham would probably do ok at Charlton, Fulham or West Ham if you ask me. I just hope the Toon don't go and offer him silly wages to play for us.

I read somewhere that of the 9 games he has started for Madrid this season they have only won 2.
JOB
There's been the usual rumours going about Glasgow that Celtic have approached him. To be honest i think he would be a good signing if he was to come, even just in terms of his profile. Obviously it's not at it's peak but it would be a major boost to Celtics global appeal.
