Children's hairdressers in Munich

I need to take my 18 month old son for his first haircut. Can anyone recommend a hairdressers in Munich that I can take him to.

There is a place in Schawbing called Noemi and Friends I think. It's a children's hairdresser. I don't have any details for them though.

Try Friseursalon Löwenstein in Schwabing (just off Münchner Freiheit). They have a deal: Two children and one parent get haircuts for a set price - at least they did when my two counted as kids, about 4 years ago. And they have prizes all over the shop, they are excellent.

I always see kids in Der Pony Club, they have 3 locations around Munich: Schwabing, Rosenheimer Pl. & Haidhausen.

Noemi & Friends as previously mentioned by Renia are absolutely brilliant. Lovely staff and atmosphere - highly recommended.

I was wondering if there are special hair salons for kids here in Munich. In Taipei we always used to take our kids to a kids' salon, where they could sit in toy cars, watch a Pingu DVD and get their hair cut.
I have never seen anything like that here in Munich, so I'm not sure where to go... The haircut shouldn't be too expensive either - I was thinking no more than 20 €.

That would be cool actually, but no, I have seen nothing like that here. You are also about €8 above the typical cost for simple haircuts.

I was just thinking that when I pay about 15 € at the regular walk-in hairdresser around the corner I would have to pay more in a special salon for the kids. Too bad there is none! I am hesitant to take her to just any place - but thanks for merging the topic, I will check those two places mentioned above.

hello! just moved to munich about 1.5 weeks ago and my son needs a hair cut so badly! in the US, we had a great children's hair salon that was great for him...they had videos to watch while getting his hair cut, sat on animal chairs...any ideas for a child hair salon here in munich? we are staying at a serviced apartment in perlach, but will go anywhere in munich to get his hair cut at a place that is kid friendly! thank you for your time!
