Bel Air smoke-free jazz night at Piazza Linda - Munich

Thursday, 28. September is the first "bel air night" at Piazza Linda. Smoke-free jazz evenings -- Jazzclub Unterfahrt was first, but Piazza Linda too has recognized the demand for non-smoking entertainment.

Oooh, cool. Shame about the Thursday night choice (bad for me), but still, I like the idea.

Don't forget, they like you to pay for the music as you leave there.

Am not a Fan of Piazza Linda, but its a good idea about the smoke free anywhere.

If anyone's into Jazz but doesn't like the idea of the smoke-free bit, there's jazz evenings every Sunday at Rolands Eck, Victoriastr near Bonnerplatz

Ah yes, you're right about the smoke thing. Last time I was in this restaurant I was delighted to see half of the room dedicated to non-smoking, with non-smoking signs on the tables in this area.
After a while, a family sat at a non-smoking table and immediately asked for ash trays - which the waitress duly brought and the people began to smoke.


When I questioned this with the waitress, she grunted and promptly removed the non-smoking signs from all of the tables.


Before anyone asks, yes, the place was not very full and there were lots of smoking tables available!

What? At the Piazza Linda? Oh dear, not good.
