but the skate goes on till at least ten. This week is the first time they'll be back up to speed after "taking it easy" in the summer to try to attract new folks. That didn't work though as they apparently weren't any slower than usual, so we'll see if I don't just cop out early this week.

I should be done with work by 8:30 so I hope to be there. How will I find the group? The raucous English?

Or I'll leave something purple on the table.

How will I find the group?
Well, temperature permitting, i'll be the sleek looking fella in shorts and sandals probably looking a bit flushed after having been running. So look for me, a mad purple welsh girl, a lanky ulsterman, an all-action american clutching roller blades, and julie andrews.

Oi, less of the lanky. Lean is the accepted phrase.
By sleek he means bald.

found this entertaining definition on the web (no, seriously, I am working today)
lanky: "A state in which a person is so incredibly skinny and tall, generally used when a persons arms reach below their kneecaps"
Will happily demonstrate how short my arms are.

Can I just say it'll only be my clothes that are purple not me.
I have used all those purple soaps they all got me for my birthday so skin colour now back to normal. Shame the bathtub isn't though.

not related to Number 10's hygiene but I don't feel so well today and won't be down after all. Sorry.

Well, then...I guess I'll have no trouble finding you all. A woman waving some kind of purple something or other, an incredibly tall man with freakishly short, stumpy arms, and some dude showing off his freshly- waxed scrotum. Have I got that right? Sounds...er...lovely. Thanks all so much for organizing it...
