Hotel on Silberhornstraße in Munich-Giesing

Hi Guys,

I am not in Munich myself right now or I would be able to answer this question myself.

I am after the name of the hotel in Silberhornstrasse. There is a large Pension at the corner with a blue sign and for the life of me I cannot remember the name. Can anyone enlighten me? I have googled for ages but I am not coming up with anything. Finding out the name might add to me finding out their telephone number!

Actually, if any of you know the telephone number it would be even better

Nope, not that one, that's the fancy one further down the street.

It is opposite the telephone shop near the tram stop. It used to be painted cream with a big blue sign.
Then again it has been about a year since I was last in Silberhornstrasse so it might have closed! Doh!

You might be right. I pass here quite frequently and cannot recall seeing a hotel in this vicinity.

Does Pension Fischer ring any bells?

I have been looking through a few of my pictures from Munich and I think that might be the one!

Saying that I still can't google anything with that name at Silberhornstrasse.

I think Pension Fischer Garni could be what you have in mind. It is actuall at the corner of Deisenhofenerstraße and Tengernseer Landstraße. Tengernseer Landstraße 69 is the precise address.
