Can you offer any?

the EuroGames are coming! the EuroGames are coming! 28. jul - 01. August

And 5500 athletes are coming! and they all have to stay somewhere! 804 have registered for the "Bettenbörse", and we only have a few more than 500 beds so far! we are getting desperate -- we need to find almost 300 beds, mostly for women, and that before they arrive in 3 weeks' time!

CAN YOU HELP? OR KNOW SOMEONE WHO COULD? PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD!

we're not talking about providing a private room and bath -- we're grateful for a place on the sofa or an air mattress under the dining room table -- and access to a bathroom. please, if you can put up just ONE person, one nice and grateful person, you'll be doing LOTS of people a favor:

yourself: you get free entrance to the games, and more! and you'll have made the acquaintance of someone from spain or italy or bulgaria or portugal . . .

the athlete: some of these athletes are only able to attend because they did not have to budget for a hotel -- and athletes who are qualified for the "outreach program" do not have to pay anything -- we have donors who covered their registration fees, food & drink, even subsidizing the transportation costs!

plus the 1000 volunteer workers who are making these XI. EuroGames possible, the biggest and best EuroGames ever!

to register as a host ("gastgeber" auf die deutsche seiten") please go to the homepage http://2004.eurogames.info
register yourself, and after you receive your registration number, you can sign in and check the boxes on the housing form (that you'd provide one/two beds to male/female smoker/nonsmoker etc).
