Where can i find oven parts (racks, shelves, grills) in Munich? I havent a car and Flea markets are inexpensive but unreliable. I was told that (as in the US) when someone buys a new oven-or renovates a kitchen-the vendor/installer of the new appliance is obliged to remove the old one.
The old ovens might be refurbished and resold or simply scavenged for replacement parts-does anyone now of any stores that sell/install new appliances within public transport distance?

I'd be interested too. I burned a hole in the coer of my oven that will have to be replaced when I move out and I just do not know where to start to find a replacement cover

For racks and shelves, ask in electrical stores like Saturn and Media Markt. They might be able to order the required parts, if they don't already have them in stock.
Also you might find something on eBay, like
this.

eBay's cool I already saw the ad and the item is exactly what I'm looking for but I dont speak German and the lady at martex doesn't speak English. I'll try an appliance store...

You don't need much German to buy off eBay. All you really need to be able to do is give your address, and transfer the money.
That particular item is "buy now" ("Sofort kaufen"), so you don't even have to mess about bidding on it.

I don't know what Martex is, but try printing out a photo of the ebay sale and show her.

Martex is the company that is selling the item on eBay.

Not sure they'll have the replacements you'll be looking for but if you're prepared to pay a little bit more, this is where you'll find nearly everything you need. They have a nice shop in the centre as well.
