The best bang for your... Euro?

I am working in Munich and was originally supposed to be here one month or so. Now the position is extended till the end of September with the potential of being permanent. Therefore, I did not pack all of the "work attire". (work is so busy, not sure when I can get back to the States) Can someone point me in the direction of a place to shop for another suit or two and shirts. Please take into consideration that I am looking for a good deal in order to have more of the hard earned Euro for that tasty beverage called beer!

P.S. I am guessing that there is a different sizing method used for suits and shirts, too. Any info?

i find könen on sendlingstr. to be a very good one stop shop for work suitable shirts etc... i'm not a suit wearer at work but the one suit i have bought since i moved to munich, i bought in könen... they are probably not the cheapest, but they do occasionally have some very good deals going on...

there was a discussion about this. where did it go?

Wormland in Kaufingerstr. has lots o' business types shirts and ties. I see lots of nice looking men in there, so it must be a good place to go.

Changed my mind on Armani since then btw - get a Boss instead.

big tip right now is Kaufingerstrasse (between Karlsplatz and Marienplatz). There is a BOSS store with huge reductions, also the department stores all have sales on.

Hettlage, the big store in the middle, is going broke and has massive bargains too.

If not there is an outlet shop covering various brands out at the Euro-Industriepark by the A9, but I've forgotten the name and I'm not sure if everyone gets in (we have to show Siemens passes for example)
